I would just like to say a big thankyou to you all for looking after me in this forum.
But not only me but others too, you are so friendly and nice to all who ask, even the simplest questions are answered well.
When one asks a simple question, you know the one when you know the answer and it was stareing you in the face all the time, no one puts you down, that's loverly of you.

Can we make this feel-good Friday, I wonder?

Feel good Friday. I like that idea.

Right now i'm floating in a huge bathtub, with a dear friend, the bathtub's filled with warm water and rose petals, scented candles and flowers fill the air with their fragrance, soft, relaxing music is floating through the air...

Feel Good Friday
11-16-2007 04:33
If you *really* want to develop that feelgood factor .. then you can pop down to Taff's Bar Cymru where in just two and a half hours they're starting their 12 hour Children In Need Charity event and give them all ... ok, maybe just lots then ... of your lindens for a worthy cause.

I believe we hit the 17kL$ target last night with a 50L$/request session with their jolliest of owners Fred :)

Yes, I know .. another plug post .. but charity for children huh?

June, I'm glad you're having such a great time :D

Oh yes! I'll try to get down later. I'm in the mood for a bop.

Luvverley post June. I too appreciate the efforts of those who give their time to help others out. It's very cool. TBH I'd been getting a bit jaded these past weeks, but coming here and meeting a few new people has really put the spark back in my SL.

Big sloppy wet kisses to all.

This just keeps getting better :D

I too will try to head over to Taff's later to add to the charity cheer :)

On another note: a lot of UK musicians (Fable SInatra and Lyn Carlberg are two I'm certain off) are donating all their tips to the same charity at the moment ! Woohoooo!

This is a little OT, but it's the best place I can find to say...

Thanks to everyone who came along on last night's group shopping trip. We mobbed stores (I think the sales assistant at Simone's boggled a bit when this crowd suddenly rezzed in her store). We lagged sims. We gained shoppers, and lost a few along the way. We got lost ourselves in some huge megastores.

We gave the SL economy a big boost!

Even better...and a big thanks to Jezabell for coming up with this idea, and Chris for putting it into action...we're going to compile a list of the merchants in the group, and take it with us on future group outings.

Like those shopping maps you get when your cruise ship makes port, y'know?

Oryx, you're in charge of the next one. I'm exhausted! :p

That's a nice thing to say. It should be put on a notecard and handed out to the Bitter Sourpusses who think this Forum is irrelevant, or that we like to intimidate and pile up on people who dare to enter our Clique.....

It's pretty quiet on here for feel good Friday. What's going on?

I know some are in world at the fund raising but many posters are at work. Is there something in the air? Where is the "official" Friday thread?

I was thinking the same thing. I'm too tired and beat up to start it myself, but shouldn't someone come in here and be all upset because they can't gamble or they saw a child av and thought, "OMG!!111! Kidd1e Sexxorz!!!"? VAT is a dead issue. How about a good old fashioned furries vs. Goreans fistfight. Pawfight. Whatever. Can I accuse some total stranger in world of being a RL male running a female escort? I'll name names, but it will probably be one of the people at the bottom of the Skin Oasis pool of mystery, deception and doom.

On the other hand, Claire is handing out kisses in post 19 above and the OP said something very nice. This is a pretty good thread for a Friday!

June ... I don't know that I've ever responded to any of your posts - I've posted so little ... but I just want to get in on the warm fuzzies and the group hug ... what a sweet post!!! Next time the cartel does shopping - hope you can come along!

Lindal - thanks SO much for organizing the shopping trip. I had SO much fun! I didn't spend near as much as others did ... I think some dropped over 10KL ... holy hannah banana ... but I did help the economy out as well last night. The best part was meeting everyone ... and keeping my feet clear of bird poop. Can't wait til the next one - and hope to meet many of you that I see post daily when I'm lurking and bored at work ...

Maybe the only way for many of us to support feel good Friday is to keep our mouths closed. :D
