Cartel Shopping Trip!

I got an idea....

Make the first stop either central av at northstar or rocket city fur meet...

spend about 800-over 1k but get a furry avatar..

Then shop and accessorize it!

oh sorry i didn't know you had to be in the group..i thought it was just a title for lets go shopping and spend like we have never spent before..or atleast like we have not spent in a long time lol

Last weekend I went shoppping in real life. I needed a new sportcoat and new shoes. I found and paid for both in under five minutes. This annoyed both the lady I was with and the retail ladies for some reason.

I guess I'm no fun to go shopping with at all.

You do not need to be in a group, just have a burning desire to shop.

I HATE shopping RL, I hate Kohl's, but it is where I get a lot of stuff, seriously hate traffic and miss being able to TP. This coupled with the fact that I do not exhibit the same physical attributes in RL that I do in SL make it a horrible chore.

SL shopping is a wonderful experience. I am able to wear outrageous stuff that I never could in RL. One of my first purchases in SL was a little black dress

oh once i get started i am unstoppable hahahaha
i have a burning desire to burn money like it's heating my house lol

As the time is meeting little resistence, I will not slip in some other time for consideration. Especially as I only know that I'm busy on the day and time, but do not know when I am free.

You do NOT have to be a member of The Forum Cartel group to go on the trip. In fact, it's a good way for newcomers to meet some of the regulars...you might decide to join!

Sorry, no can do. I have major SL shopping withdrawal whenever I go on vacation and spend a week away.


So... given that, afternoon/evenings are usually best for me. My weekend mornings are usually spent doing the mundane RL crud that is required in life so that I can come play later in the day.


ETA - however, we all know that I most especially do not NEED any items of any kind, so most definitely set this up for whatever works best for the majority.

I would like to hop in on this trip. . . . . just let me know a time and meeting place and I will be there

i'm so used to shopping by myself since i moved out of the house with the roomies my first year..

I'll go too... I'm pretty open on Saturdays so just name the time and the place. I could really use some jewelry and maybe some new hair. Some new jeans and maybe a shirt would be nice, too...

Shop on ! No need to think you in any way would be paying LL anything .They dont get a dime of what you are shopping for here in private shops .Its the content maker that gets your lindens

OK...the majority seems to be able to make Saturday 9 am SL time, so that's the time.

The jumping-off place is the Forum Cartel Hangout in Alanna. Please try to be there a few minutes ahead of time. If you miss the jump-off, you can monitor our progress with the Forum Cartel group chat (assuming it's working that day).

Where: I spent some time the last couple of days picking brains and barging around the grid looking for interesting shops. I have a list of about ten landmarks, some familiar and some not. We've got something for everyone...skins, hair, clothes, shoes, jewelry, men's clothing, dances and animations, landscaping, furniture...

I will send out a notice in world. There will be a notecard with all the information and the landmarks we'll visit, for those of you who can't go with the group.

Yes, the group is open enrollment, and all are welcome!

The shopping trip, like other Cartel activities, is open to all, both members and non members. All are welcome!

You don't have to join the group to go on the trip, or to come to the Hangout and enjoy the company...all are welcome. (Though it does make it easier to find out what's happening!)

If I remember, I'll put out a notecard giver on the porch, so if you don't get the group notice you can STILL get the landmarks. Or just IM me in world.
