Walking tour of Mainland?

I love walking around the continents and exploring too, the original mainland seems to be the most interesting (the one South of the Atoll). It's best to stick to the Linden roads (you can see them on the maps) otherwise banlines get in the way.

Finding places via search is all very well but often I'm not looking for anything particular so a little trek is great.

I'm not sure whether it was Avastar magazine or Metaversemessenger. But one of them publishes a walking reporter at times. Sorry I can't remember the reporters name though. I might have to get out and take a nice walk now too hmmmm
