I like to buy a bed and then add my favorite animations to it. Some of the best animators do not sell beds, but I can buy their poseballs, remove the animations from the balls, and put them in my bed. Then I have a unique bed that is suited to my taste.

However, I recently bought a bed that used the !XPose engine. When I tried to add animations, I found that the Adjust Position option was turned off and the notecards were no-mod. When I asked the maker how I could change that, he said "You can't. I do not allow you to make changes to my product." Hah hah, funny. I immediately moved his no-mod cards' text to my own modifiable cards and started making my changes. I am now on the way to making my bed my bed.

Does that stand for something? All I can find is a clothing store...

Akaesha's are definitely good beds. And they don't have that permission popup, so they have a slightly more natural feel to them when used as well.

Still, the best bed would be custom made, with exactly the looks and poses you want in it yourself. This can be pretty expensive to make though, just gathering the 50+ sets of animations will probably cost you about 10k. Finding a nutter to sort out all the poses and put them in a bed (which would also have a pricetag) with a good script will probably cost you another 5-10k.

This is why I like to start with a good quality modifiable bed with good starting animations. I can add and remove animations without having to do them all.
