A friend of mine makes a fireplace that seats multiple people around one prim. I assume it just changes the sit target after the avatar sits.

Oh yeah! Like those expanding table/chair sets that rez a new chair each time someone clicks to sit. Maybe it could be like that, except just rez a sit pose somewhere else in the tree?

Bradley what about a small platform in the tree V as if someone built a small treehouse? Also someone could be peeking out of the hole in the trunk.

I thought it was just a tease title until I popped in and saw that he not only needs help but wants people to sit on his big log! Even more interesting is him trying to get more then one person to sit on it at the same time.

Just a suggestion Bradley; it might actually be fitting if your big log did have two pose BALLS.
I love Fridays on the forum....

I've always wanted to sit on Bradley's Log........

Well everyone is kind of slow today because I can not believe no one started a "I need help with my little bush" thread.

No, she had one of those before, but this one... everyone sits on the same prim. No new prims rezzed anywhere.

I meant could that same script be altered a bit?

Or is there already a script for people sitting on one prim but not on top of each other?

(Hm also is there one where they do? That could be funny. :) )

Here is a basic script that will set multiple sit targets for a single prim:

I HATE pose balls, and up until now I've never had to use them, but that may change. I've seen others that have done them. One placed little doilies on their logs to use for clicking Others used pillows, most others have poseballs.

I have pondered this for awhile and am completely out of ideas.

Any suggestions out there?
Maybe there could be a couple of dead leaves clinging to the branches...

This, or Dilbert's mushroom/moss idea seem like really neat ways to do it

A friend of mine was experimenting with multiple sitters on one prim just the other day. She's going to add a way to put people on different poses.

ya know, you don't NEED pose balls at all... generic sit targets and move to position scripts work just fine... you could even mimic some of the natural sit action (with corrections for orientation and distance) by using the detected touch functions. or just animate only and leave the sitting up the the sim....

damnit not one innuendo in there... I've lost my charm.
