From: Amity Slade However, within the past week, I have witnessed two people come to my club, and wordlessly, just started rezzing their vendor objects in front of the club.
I didn't say anything to the first one; object return was set to a minute, and when she found her vendor auto-returned to her, she just quietly moved off.
Tonight's was persistent. (snip) She was undeterred by getting her objects sent back to her after a minute (though I guess they only needed a minute to spam my guests).
After the first things she dropped to spam my guests, I IMed her that we don't allow solicitors. She said she's not a solicitor, to which I replied, just please don't keep giving out objects and webpage links. She continued, so I banned her. Eli - a club that lets itself be a sandbox will get future customers? You want customers who treat your club like a garbage dump, go ahead and do that. Maybe the serious customers/guests who are trying to get in will forgive you as they trip over all the freebie crap being opened in front of the doors. Why were they standing in front of a club doing this? Because they wanted to target a lot of people. First of all - they had to have figured out they could open things on that land. Second of all, just because it's a new rez date does not mean it is a new av. Reread the above account and tell me that they didn't know what they were doing? The 2nd one ignored requests to stop and ignored the fact her items were coming back to her - she just kept on. At the point she WAS told to stop, she should've. Period. Sorry this was just griefing and an attempt to take advantage of others. You're (seemingly) very kind hearted and assume the best of people - but it isn't always true.
