On a different note, I sent a guy friend, a noob, to Maschienenwerk the other day, and he said it was gone. And I couldn't find it in search. Is it still around for sure?

At the landing point, look to the right. On the wall is a panel with the new landmark.

I am impressed with the quality available there. There are a few things there for women also by the way.

Oh, good! I'm pleased.

Actually, I don't especially like the women's things they carry, but the men's stuff is great. I've actually grabbed a few men's items there for myself . . .

I do agree that the top half of the shape looks way out to proportion to the rest. I think i can adjust things to make it look more normal. But it looked better with the skin than the orighinal shape.

I'm sure you are right.

You'll find, with a bit of practice, that editing and customizing your shape is really pretty dead simple; so much so, that many (maybe most) people don't bother buying shapes at all, but simply modify their own. So getting the look you want is really just a matter of playing for a half hour or so with the sliders in Appearance.

As for what that look might be, Melita is right: go with whatever YOU think looks nice. At the same time, of course, be aware that how you look will, just as in RL, impact on how people respond to you. Speaking as a woman, I can attest to the truth of that: the clothes a woman wears, the shape of her body, and so forth, can have a HUGE impact on how people respond to her. The same is true, I'm sure, of men. So give some thought, as well, to how you want to be perceived.

And, again, have fun with it! :)
