Anyway, the main point of the 1 minute wait idea is for human error to be realized and fixed.
It seems a little messy to implement but it shouldn't be impossible. I don't see what the downside.

1 minute or even 10 minutes would give persons the time to review what happened. |

There are things that can be done to lessen the amount of times this happens.
1. Make it abundantly clear that bots can buy land set for sale to anyone. 2. Have a transfer land option. 3. Make people type "Anyone" in the box rather than it being from a drop down. It's quicker to select anyone than an individual. 4. A delay in land being listed in search. |

I keep wanting to say "How hard would it really be for LL to impliment a one minute delay on listing land for sale?" because I honestly think it would help a significant portion of people who post threads about land bots.
But then I say to myself, "you know, as soon as LL implimented a one minute delay, there would be a thread about how it should be FIVE minutes" and then there would be a big debate about why even a one minute delay was hampering business. But yeah, how hard would it be for LL to impliment a one minute delay on listing land for sale? _____________________

Well why in the world don't they have a "accept/refuse sale' provision?
No payment method, none, are guaranteed, credit cards can be charged back, wire transfers can be withdrawn, checks bounce, and cash can be counterfeit. Every merchant. and seller, must always have the right to refuse sale for any reason they want. A buyer is offering a payment, its up to a seller to determine if the buyer is actually able to make payment.. |
