Ahhhhhhhhhrrrrrrrrrgggg!!  I just had a wonderful conversation with a person who left a landmark giver on a piece of Linden Land next to my place in Zindra. (It is no build but they forgot to turn on auto-return). After asking politely for the person to pick up his landmark giving piece of junk, he called me stupid, muted me and banned me from his land (that I have just been dying to visit from his spam landmark giver, of course  ). Unbelievable. After a lot of messing around, I was able to put a big bubble over his junk so nobody can click on it. Hahaha. And I put in a support ticket, but seeing as how a ticket I put in a couple weeks ago is still new and in queue behind the land rush tickets, I don't think this will be taken care of anytime soon. Only the worst of us prolly gonna really need to do that That, and those of us selling something. That leaves a lot of people who will still want residential mature IMMHO. I expect the price of mature mainland to rise and so do all those landbot peeps. |

Smith it seems the new way of griefing to find a parcel of land without auto return on, and leave some spam object there.
I walked onto my land one day to find MULTIPLE hidden cubes (invisiprims) that sent out constant spam to accept some "object." I had to mute each one, turn on CTRL ALT T to find them, sent the AR and then decided to hit auto return in case some poor soul came walking through and actually accepted one of the spam items. There is a welcome area nearby with noobies wandering around my land some of the time since that land's mostly empty. I could kinda see someone thinking "hey, object, cool." I hit auto return and the land was clear.
It really irked me though. It was no random thing or ha-ha-ha moment for the griefers. The items had different names as owners (probably spoofed) and many were hidden in the cloud layer, only known when I flew past.
The land is still messed up because of it, too. I have support tickets going but it may require a sim restart and I don't own a full sim, who knows. What a mess for Lindens and me both.

Generally speaking, I don't see any reason for land prices to ever go back up. Prices only increase when demand increases and the population isn't increasing at any significant rate. The Homestead thing has caused a new surge in land mass and now LL are dumping on us a couple hundred extra mainland sims in Zindra. Much of it given away for free.
