From: Marcel Flatley Okay, I never heard of these things, so I did some reading up. That guy is a Genius! The best business concept I saw so far in SL. My thoughts exactly! And the entire community that has developed around them. Although I'm personally a bit afraid of chickens*, this is HUGELY better than that danged Bloodline biting thing. *When I was a little girl and stayed with my grandparents in the country during the summer, my grandmother took me with her daily to the hen house to gather eggs. I'm here to tell ya, those chickens don't give up their eggs without a fuss!!! Squawking and flapping and feathers flying everywhere. I think it was all the flapping in an enclosed space that scared me so after that I developed a.... ...looks up sheepishly and slides the paper away. So, how 'bout them chickens?

There have been threads here that suggest the sim lag created by large numbers of these physical scripted things is no yolk.

Enough with these poultry attempts at humour! Problems caused by sionchickens are greatly eggzaggerated: SL was bawked ... sorry - BORKED, long before the chickens.
Be sure that if you are hatching any schemes, your machinations will come home to roost. We chicken caesars are not going anywhere so you're out of cluck, er, luck.
On a serious note: I can now reveal that the age-old question of which came first: the chicken or the egg, has been answered, thanks to sion Zaius. It was most definitely the chicken. The prototype (created sometime in 2004) is still alive today.
OK, all this chicken talk has made me hungry (and me a vegetarian).

.....step on it........ If it's a sim with a lot of chickens, you might find yourself stepping IN it.

From: Rhaorth Antonelli Just don't mention that you want to give away eggs or chickens for free or sell really cheap... they dislike that...
(I found that out the hard way) LOL, yes. It used to be OK to advertise in chat, but they decided to create a separate group for that. Did everyone start squawking?

Find a manual - sion chickens are hard work, I seemed to have someone tell me each important thing about them exactly one day AFTER I actually NEEDED to know it. ie, after witnessing a poor little chicken go legs up

I love animals, and have several of them on my property. A yellow Lab, a shark named Bruce, a macaw, a seagull named Henry, a seal pup named Zoe, and lots of butterflies and birdies. But I am NOT getting those Sion things.
I'm too chicken.
