The past couple of days, I've been crashing on off-sim teleports. I can't figure out if it's my new internet connection, my new nVidia drivers (just installed the newest one I could find, no help there), or if its SL in general. Is anyone else having TP problems?

Interestingly, I can log in at home, but can't log in anywhere else. I can teleport anywhere on the sim, but not off the sim.

Bumping this back up because I really need opinions. I still can't tp off my sim, and I can't log into any sim but my own. If I try, I get that I've been logged out of SL.
I can do anything else I want, on SL, and on my computer. My internet speeds per speakeasy.net are 1130kbps down and 831kbps up with SL running. Live Help says it's my connection, and it may well be. But with those numbers, what in the world do I tell my ISP? "I can't tp in SL" will be greek to them. Because I can only log in at home, it sounds to me like it's SL. Opinions?

I've been getting this off and on for almost a year. If I crash from a tp I crash after I arrive. So I set my log in location to last location. I tp, crash and relog and end up at my destination. A bit aggravating, but at least I can get around.

I can't even do that. I'm just stuck on my sim, and while it's a delightful place to be...I do like to shop other places lol

try to clean up your cache, maybe just maybe its almoust full then u cant start downloading for some reason anything else then what u have downloaded before (probably this will not solve your probl but try that) and did u try to ask anybody to tp u ...sometimes u cant tp by yourself , but if someone tp u it works ... and at the end your speed is ok, but maybe u lose 2 many packets ? and after the end .... sorry about "perfect" language ...

Did the whole clear cache, uninstall/reinstall routine, no help. Other people can't TP me, and packet loss doesn't seem to be bad, maybe 1-2%.
I'm just baffled.

Hi Honey! You might, if you haven't already, check the KB article on this. First thing I'd do is disable the firewall to eliminate that as the issue. https://support.secondlife.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=4417

Hey!,
Try downloading the latest 174 beta drivers from Nvidia.
Select 'Download Drivers' on their website and then scroll down past the product selection part and you'll see a link to their beta drivers.
I was using the official 169 drivers and my computer was having major issues with them. I just went and downloaded 174 and it seems fine so far.

One thing I've noticed this past few days is that I have to remove my ZhaoII AO to tp anywhere. I've never had this problem before, and it took me forever to recognize that I had to remove that to get anywhere in SL.

I've had problematic teleports ever since the first WindLight Release Candidate, and continuing on through the current 1.19.1.4 and the 1.20 Dazzle RC. Some WindLight versions have been better than others, but the problem was always there to at least some extent.
In my case, the tp problem generally works like this: - it's more likely to occur if I have been on line for a while - it's more likely to occur if I have been doing a lot of camera movement - it takes the form of a screen freeze after the tp button is pushed - it's often followed by a tp progress bar that moves very, very slowly - it may take up to two or three minutes to complete a tp...or it may crash.
I've found that the problem is entirely solved by using the Nicholaz EC-e patch with 1.19.1.4.

I have had this problem from time to time.. One thing that can help with this is to remove any highly scripted or high prim attachments.. Things like AO's, Multi-tools, Xcite products and jewerly... When you TP the server has to track all of these and sometimes that can really mess things up.. I have noticed that anything with a scanner in it is a real problem.. So radars, weapon huds, multi-tools, etc may also be a cause of problems.. I have tried to TP and failed over and over.. Then removed these sort of things and poof TP the first time... So here is what I did. Try setting up your inventory with those items you normall wear that might be a problem in a special folder, I call mine "! Quick Attach". That way you can just right click and and choose "remove from outfit" or "Add to outfit". Good luck, and happy TPing. Lizz

What is your new internet service? Wired or wireless? Have you tried turning your entire system completely off, including completeing powering down the computer, router, modem, etc. and letting it sit a few minutes before turing it on?
