I use landmarks all the time and theres a couple of things I'd like to see.
First add another vote for the ability to create a lm off of someone's picks, or off search, without actually having to visit right that moment.
I would also like to be able to REFUSE a landmark if it is offered to me by an automated landmark giver in a store, because that just bugs the wotsits out of me. Nothing turns me off a store faster than being given a lm before I've discovered whether they actually have anything to offer that I might want to buy again.
I can decline objects, textures, notecards. Why can't I decline landmarks as well? It makes no sense.

I'd like to be able to UPDATE landmarks. I'd like to be able to say, move my store, and have the landmarks people already have, point to my new location. Damn good idea. I'd like landmarks to be more like bookmarks in a web browser so I can scroll down them more easily, when i create a landmark I should type in the description, not the automatic parcel name and number stuff we get now. |
