I readed the post of Carlos Cameron about the ugly fashion for men and I agree with him. I can't find something nice looking to buy for myself. Only few clothes i discovered that are nice looking and fashionable for men. But don't worry! Soon SL Economy will grow with unexpected trends! The new Prada collection will change the world in it basics and all the men will go to buy skirts And i can predict good business for designers creating skirts - they will get one big part of new fresh costumers - the males See for yourself http://www.thefashionpolice.net/2008/01/mens-fashion.html

A kilt...with black sneakers? nope, sorry...just doesn't look right. If he's going to wear black sneakers with his kilt he should at least wear red socks with them. eep... I've divulged some of my fashion secrets!

I'm actually buying a kilt in RL this week, I'm actually thinking of buying two, the first is in my clan's tartan and I will wear it at my sisters wedding when I give her away, the second will be off the peg, I have two openings to attend in NY and I thought wearing a 'prada' type kilt would be dramatic

Go to SL Scotland and you can have a kilt made in your Tartan.

Once bedecked in kilts (make sure they're flexi), come and dance (at the place that must not be mentioned) on the ceiling.
Works real well for Chris

Was thinking the same thing. In RL, the Scottish have been on this new trend for centuries *grins* In SL, also have several friends who regularly wear full kilts very nicely accessorized. *Boggles* Have we just solved the "No good clothes for men" discussions?

From: Colette Meiji Let me know when they get skirts right for Women too. And the ^#*$& ads for them! Spent a fortune on a gown that looked stunning in the poster only to find out that the train was not only NOT flexxi, it sticks out from my butt like a bright red and somewhat demented peacock. I vote that any item of clothing over 300L should have a demo.

Remember guys, it's not a mini skirt. A kilt should reach from your waist to the midpoint of your knees. Slightly longer, at most.
Cue ancient kilt joke:
Young Lady: Is anything worn under your kilt? Scot: Nay lass, it's all in perfect working order.

From: Czari Zenovka *Boggles* Have we just solved the "No good clothes for men" discussions? Maybe it will be solved in fully if Prada make this to be real fashion and man start to hang around in RL with skirts. Just imagine one big muscle guy with tiny skirt. And to start doing all these things, that woman do when they sit somewhere For me personally i preffer to stay with old fashion

It totally depends on the guy. Brian Molko of Placebo sometimes wears knee-length black skirts, and I find that very sexy... (more after pic) ...but then there's an unshaven guy here at work who's easily over 300 pounds and wears the same frilly khaki manskirt literally every other day, along with Birkenstocks AND SOCKS. It's not so sexy on him. P.S. Regarding the tutu in the link in the original post of this thread: No.

LOL No wonder those models look so depressed. They're thinking "Man, I hope my mother doesn't see what they're making me wear at work"

From: Colette Meiji Let me know when they get skirts right for Women too. LOL...yeah weird how the Kilts look SO MUCH better than most Prim skirts, lol. I guess designers say: "If a man is gonna wear a skirt, he had better at least look damned good in it!"

Yes, they are males. Almost all models looks like they are bored on fashion shows. One smile can do amazing things, but they rarely smile.

One of my male alts has a full dress Kilt in the Mackay clan tartan. The shop he bought it from made it especially for him, using a Tartan plaid that I designed. They also sell SL versions of the "Utili-Kilt", which is a modern-day non-plaid kilt that I have seen sold before at various Highland games. Personally, I think guys in kilts look quite sexy! On the other hand, I don't want to see a guy with hairy legs wearing a miniskirt! (And I have seen just that, in RL... Not pretty!)
