Rezzed the crab. Went to bed. Woke up. He's gone again. And not in inventory. On the plus side, I no longer have crabs.

He heard all that talk about boiling water, garlic, butter, and Old Bay, and headed for the hills. Except since he goes sideways, he probably wound up in the creek instead.

Hi all,

Sorry guys and gals for the really lost pets. But hey, I think I must be lucky, because my Irish Wolfhound Finn keeps sending me messages when I am offline to tell me he is lost. I quickly come into SL to retrieve him, only to find him sitting happily on my lakeside beach with a quirky smile on his face!

I had a word with the creator of him and she said that I had to make sure he was lying down or sitting otherwise he thinks I have left him. (Awwwww). So, I leave him sitting down or lying and still when I am offline, he calls out to me - "I'm lost, I'm lost" - it almost breaks my heart!

So yes, I am lucky because I do have my pet as he isnt really lost, and I darent take him into my inventory incase I lose him forever! How will I get Finn to realise he's not lost and has a lovely home, lol!?

My deepest sympathies go out to you in your time of distress. Losing one's crabs after having gotten them back must be terribly distressful.

I know how those little buggers can grow on you. I used to draw landscapes at a south pacific style beach mall/resort that will go unnamed, although you would be thoroughly dazzled if you went there.

Anyway, one of the artist's easels had a crab that lived by it and he/she/it (it was bright red so I assumed it was already cooked) used to sneak up to me and walk sideways thru my leg all the time.

I thought that was so cute...

Then one day, he was gone.
