Is it just me or has SL had networky type issues for weeks.... avatars and surroundings staying grey for longer.... or even complete buildings not rezzing for maybe a minute or more. Cos for sure..... something along the piece of wet string between my Pc and LL has gotten worse this past month or so. .. and now... all this crap too. It does seem like that yes, i have noticed a shift in performance the last little while. Figures the hype of secondlife lately and the increase in resident logins. |

at least i got a new error message when trying to login in... it jsut switched from "Logins are currently disabled" to "inventory system is not available"... kinda keeps you warm in a cold winters night... like having a chat with Error Linden...

I tried my account, and my older account (I guess she's the alt now) and can't get in. I get the old "despite our best efforts"... or the Inventory Status message.
In the last little while, I have seen 3 of my friends go on line though. _____________________

I see numbers climbing, after they droped down from 71k online to 24k online. Actually its around 27k online. But so far no login for me. Three/four different error messages, while my fav is: "The inventory system is currently unavailable" Hahaha.
So, congrats to all who are in. And: happy new year to our beloved company and thanks for the belated chistmas gift. I was kicked out in the middle of building something important some hours ago. $§$§$§$§$ |

"Logins failed. The inventory system is currently unavailable." Yeah I've been having inventory failures all last week and weekend. Filed a support ticket and got back "clear your cache" Like I hadn't tried that a dozen times already. They closed the ticket and I would reopen it saying it's server side because I have a ton of things missing from data base messages but have shown up every time I cleared my cache. Hey I've only been on Second Life over 2 and a half years and logged over 15,000 hours so what do I know. I do know one thing. I'm no longer going to spend 300 a month for a sim anymore with the way things are going when images take forever to rez in world, teleports failing and editing with images takes two hours to go through 20 images. Sorry Linden Lab it's just not worth it anymore. |
