This has been mentioned before but I thought this message needs to be spread through the SL community to avoid embarrassment!
I use the Emerald viewer a lot of the time, and on there other Emerald users have their name tags above their heads with green text instead of orange. At a lot of clubs and other venues, usually between a third and half of people present have those green name tags.
As we know, Emerald graphics allow female breasts to bounce quite realistically - I think male pectorals don't move at all. Also, those in the know realise that prim objects attached to the breasts don't move with the wobbling! I was at a topless event the other day and this phenomenon was perfectly demonstrated by an unfortunate woman whose prim nipples were jumping out completely clear of her breasts and then back in. This was quite comical but I felt sorry for the woman who must have been unaware of what 50% of those present must have been seeing.
So the advice to all is to not wear any chest attachments on breasts since people on Emerald will be LMAO-ing and ROFL-ing!

So now people have to take care of what emerald users see? Why?

People don't HAVE to take care of what Emerald viewers see, of course, I just wanted them to be aware of what Emerald users might see.
We've all had occasions when we assumed we looked good at an event, only to be told by someone else that we're a white puff-cloud, or all grey, or in the old days, were all white with 'missing texture' written all over us. It's a bit like that, just that 50% of people might not be seeing you the way you think they are.
Also the jiggling graphics is applied to all breasts seen by the Emerald user, it's not something individual avatars can set for their own bodies.

i turned mine off after the first couple of hours..I know even though mine are off others will still see them move if they have them turned on..i'm not gonna turn that into something that stops me from wearing what i want..still it's a good reminder for those that don't know at first i thought this was about the glitch where it can mess up your shape if you have jiggles on and then go into appearance..

That's true too. And also when they wear invisiprims on their feet and the sculpt shoe-feet don't rez - looks like feet amputated!
Actually I stuck with semi-system hair longer than most for the simple reason that so many people stayed bald for ages while their prim hair rezzed. In the end I gave in, though.

I'm very sparing with sculpts. I don't wear any sculpted items and the only sculpts I have in my home are the sections of hedge around the garden, the bedclothes on my bed and a bowl of decorative vegetables on the table in the lounge!
There are some excellent looking scuplts created by very talented designers, I wouldn't deny that, but the things often only look good after a wait.

You mean pictures of the unfortunate unintended effects?
I wouldn't have been so cruel, but you can imagine it for yourself!

And normal viewer users get to lagh at emerald viewer users who attach prims to the extra attachment points. On Emerald they see it just fine, but that necklace on Chest2 is floating 2 feet in front of you on normal viewers!

I'm only concerned about what I see on my screen. With all the different viewers out there, I can't be bothered to worry about anyone else's view.

Not just viewers, but different machines with different settings. Yeah, I concern myself with what I see.. I can't account for everyone else.

In the end, who are we all wanting to please with any settings? What Joe and Suzie Avatar see or what we see on our machines? For me, it's what I see......if someone else sees it differently what do I care.

From: Milla Janick Not my problem if your PC sucks. Well my Pc does not suck, I don't have that problem I was jsut pointing it out as an example... besides I am using Emerald, switched of the jiggling as it never turned out to really look natural for me but of course it is a nice enhancement and shows what can be done. I do not walk around and tell people where to wear what stuff so that my SL experience improves, this is up to them...

I know I can't control how other people see me, but I'm still conscious that I want to look my best, as far as possible, to as many people. From: someone I do not walk around and tell people where to wear what stuff so that my SL experience improves, this is up to them... - Nor do I - I was just raising awareness of a discrepancy that some people might wish to avoid if they knew about it.

This. For me, it's not even a matter of vanity; it is an essential part of my job. I pay no care for how anybody else sees me, then it is likely going to have an adverse effect on my tips. So I do things that some may consider extraordinary, including finding outfits that rez quickly, turning off my AO whenever I'm on the pole even if it appears to me that I'm dancing just fine with it on, and rebaking if anyone comments about not being able to see me. It's just a part of business, but proof that there are times and occasions when one *should* care about how they are seen by others.

For me, it's what I see......if someone else sees it differently what do I care. I spend a lot of time cajoling my friends into watching me change outfits and show off different styles. When not doing that I often go to clubs and enter contests or dance on poles to get others to watch me or perv cam me. So yeah - how I look to others in SL is a big part of it for me. I have xcite nipples, and ling before getting Emerald I set them to no show because no matter how hard you try you cannot get them to look right. They'll always look like two little nubs of clay pressed onto your bosom.

There's also the element of certainty here. It's true that others might not see us rezzed properly - particularly sculpty attachments. But we don't know, we assume that most of the time most people will be seeing us properly. But what is certain is that people using Emerald with jiggling enabled (maybe 30% of users), they WILL see the prim nipple anomaly!
Re the double attachment points. This is a similar thing the other way round - Emerald users be warned!
I think nearly all the things I wear as attachments, I made myself, so if I want two attached in the same place, I just link copies of them into a single object...e.g. ponytail + Baseball hat.

We need to keep in mind here that the enhanced breast physics offered by Emerald are not supported by anybody. It is not the way avatars are even intended to be. Any anomalies that crop up by turning it on, including losing your own no copy and no mod shape because of it, are entirely your responsibility.
If you have it on and you think the person with the prim nipples that don't move with their breasts is an idiot, well, I have news for you, the idiot is the person sitting at your own keyboard.

From: someone If you have it on and you think the person with the prim nipples that don't move with their breasts is an idiot, well, I have news for you, the idiot is the person sitting at your own keyboard. LOL - I'm not saying anyone's an idiot, I was just pointing something out, offering some information that might be of use to people who didn't already know. Still, I suppose whatever we say, it's sure to displease someone! From: someone Any anomalies that crop up by turning it on, including losing your own no copy and no mod shape because of it, are entirely your responsibility. That's something that people should be aware of, from what I've heard. But I made my own shape, so it's copy and mod for me and my safety alt has a copy of it too! I also have all my shape slider values written down on a piece of paper from when I re-created my SL avatar in OpenSim.
