On this showing Ianthe, none of them knows, or even suspects. You're safe!

But on thinking about it, isn't the whole concept of 'knowledge' a bit suspect in SL? Based on a universe with stable, knowable qualities, and a certain consistency in the way it works, and human beings who are clever enough to be able to puzzle some of them out.

Here in SL you can change who you are, you can switch the laws of physics on and off, the rules that govern us (the ToS) seem capable of being interpreted in any way, our gods (the Lindens) seem to behave in arbitrary and inconsistent manner, men are women (and are women men? - I don't know), my inventory is a strange, mythical, volatile and unpredictable place, and my penis has a life of its own.

Is there ANYTHING knowable in SL, with any certainty?

I wonder if this empty thread will generate its own life, and live or die?
