From: Czari Zenovka I think Sweethearts was a good idea in theory, but in addition to the major lag factor, the main thing I've observed in my visits there are about 6 couples dancing and some profile reading usually shows these are already partnered or at least "taken" couples. The other 50 or so stand around. Some seem like regulars and there is a bit of chit-chat. But I rarely see any of these people pairing up to go on the dance floor. I have several rather wry and/or amusing anecdotes observed from my times there but I'll just stop here....for now.  Phats was very classy until they opened a sim. Then it became Ahern with people in laggy gowns and ugly tuxes. Also, they don't allow non-human avs-- I understand the sentiment for keeping a human audience, but it does make a place rather more boring. |
