Where do I get the book goodies?

Where do I get the book goodies referenced in the Second Life: The Official Guide and https://support.secondlife.com/ics/support/KBAnswer.asp?questionID=4436 The answer site links to this bad sl url: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Emerce%20Twee/86/78/200
I have tried replacing the "%20" with _ still no good.

However, I can't say that I recommend it. It does have some interesting bits about the history of SL, and a pretty detailed description of how to set up the Appearance sliders. But there is very little useful about creating objects, textures, animations, or scripts. There's nothing about all the features that have been added in the last year. And the CD-ROM contains stuff that you can download for free on this site.

That %20 should be a space, not an underscore. But clicking it as is should take you there. Paste the link in open chat, open your chat history, click the link and see if it tps you tot he spot.

Search All and Map search both bring up zero results for Emerce Twee. How old is the book that you're referring to, Guu? It may be that the area those 'book goodies' were originally from simply doesn't exist anymore.

And seconding Lindal's remark: your first link (to the forum post) just brings up a 'new post' blank page.

That book came out in January. Wish I had my copy here with me ...

The actual trouble is the bad link on the help page (1st url). Its supposed to take you to the inworld place to get the goodies.

The format for the SLurl is fine. Where does the link take you - or what message is generated when you try to use it?

It would seem that Emerce is a Dutch magazine that had a store on Second Life, but according to that article the store was opened in 2006. I can't find any trace of it inworld now.

The only things that a search for 'emerce' brings up are the Business1 region (with only graphico.co.uk as a place in the region, which I can't teleport to anyway), the Emerce Island group, listed as "Land Group for Emerce eDay" (with a couple of Lindens as officers), and an avatar profile that has a pick mentioning a company that did work for the Emerce eDay.

Hey, you know, we're attacking the wrong problem. The person wants the book goodies. I don't have the book with me .. what are the goodies, does it say? Can we get a search for those items?

/me facepalms. Session expired. I managed to find the question again, and I get the same result as you: a blank SLurl page.

The Emerce Twee location where this kiosk was seems to no longer exists, Guu. I suggest opening a support request and asking if the kiosk location has been moved.

Additionally, does the book tell you what these 'bonus items' are? You might find they're already inworld, perhaps at one of the NCI locations.

well i submitted a support ticket about the bad link will see if that works. i dont have the book in question just found the support site and wondered about it.
