Try touring the quality clothing stores instead of searching for "bikini" or "swimsuit". I've found that many clothing stores offer some swimwear that's on-par with the quality they apply to the rest of their inventory. Simply searching for swimwear winds up leading mostly to fetish shops and D-cup-fantasy-land. "Super string peek-a-boo with prim t**s and bling".... Ugh! (>_<

Check out some of the showcased clothing stores, Rha!, and other places you see in peoples' sig lines. I'm not home, so I can't really dig through my LM, but, I'm sure you'll get plenty from this crowd. (^_^)y

I sell a couple different bikini's never really got into swim wear much

can't recall the name of the place I have seen that sells it specifically

PixelDolls has some nice swimwear right now---a retro one piece and a couple really nice bikinis. But it all depends how you define "nice"....

Try Compass Rose. I found a swimsuit there that I will wear. Not a tiny bikini and well made. Gabby also has some other clothes there that are really cute.

Ooh.. And the silly part is, after all that stuff I said, my favorite happens to be one I found in the Akiba region freebie rack... I'm wearing it in my tall shape here:

A lot of stores sell swimsuits in a small section of their store so definitely keep an eye out for suits when you are doing some regular shopping. Bikini Boutique sells really small micro bikinis. Seductions also sells some nice ones. Little Rebel has a big selection. You should also check the Naughty discount store too.

Try Savonah's. It's all women's swimwear and her more recent ones come in multiple layers so you can wear them with tattoos or other underlayers.

Every now and then, if I want a piece of clothing but I'm not exactly sure what, I go to SLExchange.com and do a search on the clothing item. The results usually come in the form of most expensive item first, so I immediate start browsing at the end of the list, with the L$ 0 items.

Not all of the L$ 0 are great items. But a few are. So why pay money for a good item, when I can get one for free?

(And with SLExchange, at least I have some confidence that enough people look over the stock, such that any items that shouldn't be there for free have hopefully been spotted already and weeded out.)

there is a vendor at northstar mall, upstairs i believe i think it's water instinct and sells only the one-peice style sets. Pretty good ones, and not too bad on the lindens.

I think she has vendors elsewhere as well

I recently fell in love with "Markova" by Zion Felisimo, ranging from cute bikini to hot deep cut bathing suit ... available in world, on OnRez and on SLEX as well, I think. Plus, their own blog with a nice tutorial for adding shades and folds on clothes.
