My Main store has been in the same location for well over 2 years...Just Expanded ! So this would be one of several satellite stores for advertising...It will just be an Expensive Experiment...I guess, if I get the Bid. Besides, It's always fun to build )) You make good gestures Kurt....i bought a ton of them last year on a shopping spree in your main shop. I was there for nearly 2 hours testing each gesture. |

From: Ceera Murakami I think that eventually Bay City could be a good location for satellite stores, a way to show a sampling of your work and direct people to a main store elsewhere. But it will only be good if LL gets a backbone transplant and does something about the rampant land speculation and ad flippers that are trashing the area. As long as most of the parcels remain in the hands of people whose only motivation is to extort as much value from the land as possible, while doing nothing constructive with the land, Bay City will be a "good idea that failed to do what was hoped". That's why i'm playing a "wait and see" type of game. I'm hoping it will work, especially for those people that bought land for legitimate purposes.....i'm also hoping that prices will settle down over time, once the LL hype has worn off, so that either renting or buying 2nd hand land would become feasible. |

Ty Rene I am going to put my Wife Bonita's Jewelry and my gestures there and see what happens... Maybe if enough Retailers build and open stores there it will make a great area...I got one in Rollers, just down from the theater... Ty for all the comments

From: Haravikk Mistral Hrm, as long as they keep in-theme and aren't overly laggy then it could be okay, but otherwise it just runs the risk of turning the bay-city area into yet another lag-fest mall. At those prices though I'd hope people would take the extra effort, I won't be buying a plot as at those prices they seem to be worth more than all my land combined! On the few occasions i visited the area....i experienced lag just flying across the sims that were empty (other than LL assets)....so it made me wonder how this will all pan out once the regions are full of buildings and prims....not to mention avatars !! |
