Lost my inventory.. need helpp

Hello , i am in the game about a year and that which happened to me is very strange, none of my friends has experienced and none can help me so i ask for your help...

I lost all my inventory.... I lost the all folder When you enter to your inventory there are 2 folder .. 1 is my inventory and 2 Library.. I lost the first my inventory. The real frustrating thing is that although i have a lot of lindens and i "can" buy new clothes and new things i dont have inventory .. so even if i buy it i cant find it in my inventory... I did clear cache ,reset filders , reinstall the game , send bug report ....but nothing..

Nikos, this may seem stupid (of me that is) but are you looking at Recent Items rather than All? Do you have Recent Items?

That was my first thought too Bilbo,
Are you looking at the Recent Items tab, which is located next to the normal Inventory tab..
I know I once did that, and had a panic for a good ten minutes...

no i dont look in my recent items ... I have this problem about 1 week. I am trying 1 week to fix it asking my friends who are older than me in the game ( i am 1 year) and nobody had this problem again ...

Have you been playing with the client debug settings?


Uninstall fully the SL client and download and install a fresh copy should resolve this. Do not install over the existing copy.

I'm having this same problem! Last nite, all my inventory disappeared. I have my folders, but nothing in them that I can set out or wear. I do have my objects, but very few things in there as I try to keep things organized. I was hoping when I logged in today things would be back, but they aren't. Even my landmarks are gone

Yes AWM i use client debug settings . I am reinstalling the game now...

Lola i think that the only thing you will need about your problem is to clear your cache.

Edit-> preferences->Network->Clear Cache

The normal way to fix inventory problems is to clear your casche (in edit - preferences) then exit 2nd life then come in again and wait a few minutes before going into your inventory

If that doesnt work, maybe you somehow moved your "my inventory" folder inside your library folder. If so you could drag it out again.

This happend to a friend of mine a few months ago. It was really gone. LL managed to reset it back to what it was after a few days. But you would have to tell them. Did you open a ticket?

I reinstalledl the game but again the same problem.

Eva as a basic member i can only submit special Question and lost inventory isn't in the list

I belie-eve the Library folder is write-protected .... but I have been know to be wrong.

Nikos, if you can't get any support because the criteria they need can't be met, maybe someone could speak with Live Help on your behalf. I tried, but my internet connection is slow until midnight, in 1 and a 1/2 hours. If noone else can, I can try speaking to them if you want. I think I'd die if I lost my invent :/, I've lost bits and pieces, but never the whole thing, knock on wood *knocks on head*.

Did you remove your SL user application data folder too? The uninstall doesn't do that, and I know deleting it manually has helped with other people's problems in the past.

Ann i dont think the problem is with my pc because i own 4 pc and i have the same problem in all of them. In my opinion the problem is triggered from the asset server that lindens have.

Ohh Kayyy ..... well if I may make a second silly suggestion?
Could it be ... your filters have just for some reason blocked everything?
If you open filters, set them all, clear them all again, does anything happen?

Nothing bilbo .. the only thing it happens is to open and close the folders that are in my library...

What happens when you rez a cube and then "take" it? I've read of other people getting stuck inventories to finish loading when they do some manipulation of them like adding things.

You need to file a Support Ticket. This sounds like a re-occuring problem with the asset server as of late. If you have an alt, be sure to test with it, and tell LL that thigns are fine with it, when you make your Ticket. If you don't have an alt, now seems like a good time to make one ^.^

My suggestion would be to contact Cyn Linden via a note card and explain the situation and that because of the way the support portal works for basics, you can't submit a support ticket for this issue and what is the best way to handle this.

Sounds like it truly isn't your computer, but the asset server as you said and thus, it's not your fault that LL isn't living up to even basic standards

And its very frustrating that i cant take as a basic member the privileges a premium has in the field of help .........

You still can (and should) file a Support Ticket as a Basic Member.

The only difference is that Premium Members have a more detailed list to pick from as to how to direct their own Tickets.

Basic Account Tickets are simply routed through a mian processing center BEFORE going onto the appropriate department to handle the problem. Once either Tickets are in the queqe, they have the same priority. First in, First out.

The real difference of Premium in Support comes from the Live Chat feature. Since Premiums are paying directly, they recieve a direct line for assistance. (Yes, I do know a lot of Basics actually pay more than some Premiums, but there is no way to quanify that easily.)

Short version:
File a Support Ticket on this issue anyway.

Clearing Second Life's cache


They told me that a technician was working for one day !!!!!! To finally find and send me this solution $#!@#@! Clear my cache .......

Of course this didnt work and i am still with no inventory. My last hope is the wednesday's maintenance .. Otherwise i need to create another account after 1 year playing with this account i have houses a job clothes skin and all the necessary thing... BUT now i need to start again move my groups houses s to the other account and spent a lot of money buying skin clothes....
