I know I read a few posts about this but I can't seem to find...

Was just curious if anyone can tell me how bad the performance is with class 4 openspaces sims vs class 5. I remember reading that avatar limitations was a big difference, anything else? Script lag obviously i guess...

Are they even usable for anything but boating?

If you want to see what a class 5 openspace sim can do, talk to someone who has one of these (check 'about land') and they may let you test a few things.

Here's twelve possibilities:

Caledon Lionsgate
Caledon Carntaigh
Caledon Loch Avie
Caledon Primverness
Caledon Sound
Caledon Spierling
Caledon Middlesea
Caledon Murdann
Caledon Kintyre
Caledon Greystoke
Nova Civis Caledon - Carl Metropolitan's for NCI classes, just watch it in action
Caledon Cymru

Kami's very generous with sandboxing in Lionsgate, but only as long as people aren't being tards...

I don't have any class 4 openspaces myself, but I'm sure you can find one to compare.
