Your fav shop for poses?

Hi I'm looking for more shops that sell poses and poseballs. Static ones for pictures, not animated. I can tell you where I've bought poses...

I saw some faerie poses from a shop new to me... but I didn't bookmark it and can't find it. I look for single poses, couple poses and groups. Silly, funny, sexy, fashionable... no matter. I just want to see something a bit different, not just the same poses, if you know what I mean. I can't describe it better, I just know what I want when I see it. *shakes her head*

So do you have some suggestions? I know it's some here that take lots of pictures....

Reel Expressions

ADD Poses has a few cute ones.

[LAP] is my favorite, but I also use a lot of Torrid, Reel Expression, and LostAngels poses.

It's been quite some times since I bought them so the name may be incorrect Nytrive something like that.. They have full perm poses as well. Lately I'm working on making my own poses..

Can anyone clear up this name for me? sorry I don't remember the correct spelling.

Ah, so many shops, so little time.

Anyone seen poses on Fashion Planet, maybe 3-4 weeks ago, it was faeries that were posing. I remember I thought it was fresh, new, but I didn't bookmark it. I am sure it wasn't a big name. I remember reading the post, thinking: "I've never heard about that shop".

Don't think it was that one Ann. The pictures was a bit "goth" and taken inworld... I think. Thanks for the suggestion.

I wanted to support her with my L$ after she went through the effort of making the vamp killer, but virtually all the poses I tried sent Ann's hands into her body. I'm sure they're great on a smaller av though.

Marianne, ANA_Mations tends to be a bit 'gothy' and I'm fairly sure she has some fairy poses...should be worth checking, in any case.

hmm- never seen it happen on me - I must be under-tall! Vertically challenged?

Ann is about 6'10" (prim height) with 70 hips, so she's not dainty by any means, but I generally don't have much trouble finding poses that work for her...as evidenced by the 900 or so I have in inventory.

I either need shorter arms or narrower hips for Cheree's to work for me.

It's no use for me to try them either... I've tried to have realistic length on my arms. I'm also rather tall, or average/tall for a SL female, but some curves. Thin after RL standards, but plus size SL.

I just got a group notice from Striking Poses - they've released the "Playboy" line of poses...can't wait to see these

When you have a few minutes, I would love for you to come try them out for me so I can see the problem. I am always looking for ways to improve my stuff.

A copy of your shape would be even better if that is possible.

Sure, but I'm not saying anything actually needs to be improved, just that the poses I tried didn't work for my particular av. You *might* consider doing additional 'curvy' versions for poses with hands close to the body like Luth does at Reel Expression.

That is actually what I had in mind (to make curvier versions.) I just said it wrong.

It must be hard to make poses in SL, with all the different bodies used.

I know many have breast size as "pet peeve" (spelled right? English isnt my #1 language).

But what irritates ME, is the impossible long legs and short arms. I really dislike photos of models with legs 2/3 of their total body length. But that's the model "look" I guess *sighs*.

Those who will look like the SL models, buy shapes with those arms and legs, and so the poses are made for short arms and long legs. I try to have an essential symmetry in mind when I tweak a shape, but we are in SL here, and SL has it's own view on beauty and proportions.

I think it's great if pose sellers come with different versions of their poses! And please....make couple poses modify so we easy can adjust the poses so the arms of the one don't melt into the body of the other... I can't say how ugly that is!

That's the rant for today

my favorite poses to date came from ChereeMotion. I tried making some, the result was laughable at best and screamable at worst, and not in a spooky halloween sort of way...more in a tubular bells kind of way.

And in this thread I'm going to mention how much I *despise* pose creators who insist on making them "no copy"....grrrr

Marianne, CodeRed Bastard makes a fantastic set (actually I think it is 3) of extremely sexy "boudoir" poses. I have only 1 set bcause of the price. Probably the best kind I've seen of this type. Some are pretty racey in the group, but they are extremely well done. Again, mucho dinero, however, you get a lot of poses in each pack.

Now that I've written this, I need to remember to take some photos with them I've been quite remiss about that!

Oh God yes... "Boudoir" poses. I love them but I have a "budget". No fun . I don't think Cody sell them separate either. /me groans
