Hello forum regulars! ; P I joined SL not long ago with my lady. We are having a blast building our dream home! We were wondering where are some cool places to visit? We especailly like contemporary style builds and architectural masterpeices. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say, but we are after some others opinions on places we should visit and places we shouldn't miss! Any help or suggestion would be warmly welcomed! Thanks!

everyone should see the gardens of apollo!!!, and svarga (sp? x2?) many of the RP city sims are neat builds, from the realistic/architecture perspective... hawaii is pretty,... ive found a lot of interesting places i never landmarked just doing random searches...have one person pick a letter, the other a word beginning with it, then the first a number, then search for the word and go to the # place in search results hehehe, can alter the concept anyway you like/feel... happy exploring and have funs!

We seriously need a "Places to visit" thread locked at the top of this forum. Honestly, I see this question a lot and even search for it when I am looking for new places to wander! *starts making a list this time*

No problem. Another thread was titled "Fun Suggestions"; bbcode is off and html doesn't work, so here's the link: /327/75/211762/1.html and somewhere there is a thread where people mention what they built and ask people to visit.

Morocco Caves of Rua Serenity (above Rua) The Pot Healer Adventure at Numbkulla Bliss Gardens (ground level and the shops at 300 m)
there's an awesome Buddhist sim, can't remember the name, but there is a heartbreaking memorial hidden up in the mountain... I started crying when I saw it.
Pontiac Raceway Nayao (it's a Role Play sim so talk in IM)

One place definitely worth a visit is Inspire Beach. Ice-skating, dancing on an aquarium and lots more. Then pop upstairs to the Planetarium, which is brilliant!

Apologies if they're already mentioned above - couldn't see them: My two top must-sees are: Damania Dresden Galley And, until 1st October, Burning Life 2007 is well worth a visit - all 18 sims of it!

Scope Cleaver has some insanely good builds, you can pick up his proftolio and visit each one. I believe his sim is called "SCDH" or "SCDA" or something like that... Just check his profile.
Also "Greenies" sim is a really fun place to be!

There is a website and guide compiled and managed by Higbee Protagonist. I think I got the spelling right but of course, Search isn't showing up his recent thread! Grr. I'm not in-world right now, but if you call up my profile in-world and look at picks, it's the only one LOL. Lots of interesting places but I'd like to add Mystery and if you like architecture I've not visited but Cologne Cathedral is apparently very good. There's a charming Italian seaside town just south-westish of Yamma Yamma too

I have a free box full of landmarks posted on the vendor wall at my store, its labeled "Cool Places to Visit". This collection represents the best places I have found in over 2 years of exploring SL, architectural and natural builds. I keep adding to it as I find new ones.

I dont think that Kowloon has been mentioned so i thoroughly reccomend it. IMHO one of the best urban builds in SL
As far as fun places go - try Weather Island, still one of the best corporate builds in SL I think.

I'd add Chichen Itza, The Botanical Gardens, and the Bora Bora sim group to this list. The Caledon sims are also gorgeous and fun to roam.
