I'm an addict.

So a friend of mine that does SL photography just got a new neat chair that does all sort of old pin up girl type poses. So naturally, I 'took one for the team' and tried it out.

The pictures turned out great, but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what to do with them (theres, like, 20 or so that I'm in love with).

Any suggestions? I feel sort of silly putting pictures of myself all over the house (Isn't that bad form or something?)...and some of them are nudes (Tasteful, but HAWT!)...

What have you done with your neat SL pictures?

I use to frame mine and put them on the walls(the ones of my friends,not of me..) I no longer have walls though... So now they just all go on my flickr site.

I have one of those posing chairs too, love it. I did a whole slew of shots of me in a "Chicago" style outfit.

When I take particularly good shots of myself I put them in my house, frame them nicely and display them on shelves. Nude shots have been displayed too, but I usually put those on the 2nd floor, in more private areas. The rest of them go onto my flickr page to let the public see them.

If you don't want to let the public see the nude ones, you could always send some to Trout for a slut rating of course. Then they aren't going to complete waste

I have a slideshow picture frame for all my inworld pics. It uses a lag-fighter prefetch script I made that preloads the next picture on the 'back' face while the front face never goes gray with load times. (^_^)

Pictures of myself, friends, places I've visited, and things I've seen go in there. I can have hundreds of pictures, it doesn't flood my walls with an appearance of "me-me-me", and it's only 1 prim. (^_^)y

Trout Recreant, from the goodness of his heart, offers a rating service on a scale of 0 to 10 of sluttiness, based on as many suitable photos as he can persuade you to provide and which he promises only he will drool over, ahem, review. He not only associates a numerical value to the candidate's sluttiness (or otherwise in some cases) but offers a verbal summary of his reasons for doing so and an assessment of the candidate's likelihood of being taken home to meet a guy's folks. Quotes from "good" ones tend to end up in forum sigs.

They are pretty cool.......I just transferred the poses to my inventory so I could use them at other photo shoots. LOL
You could get involved with flickr......tons of SL photo fanatics post their work on flickr. (I'm one of em....that's almost all I do in SL) You'd also probably learn a lot about photogrophy by becoming a part of that group. It's great fun.

About those chairs tho.....lol.......I have never taken pics using the chairs. The poses are always just a little bit off and I get too annoyed having to re-adjust and the avatar looked a bit distorted in some of the poses. (and I hate having to photoshop my pics to death lol)

I did the script and I hand it out for free. My ISP seems to only want me to connect to half the internet at the moment, so, I can't get past region handshaking. But... Once I get in I'll toss you a copy. =^-^=

I have a subterranean gallery under my lawn, reached through a trap door. I put some of my best SL pics on display there. At the moment they are all of me, but only one of them is a bit naughty!

I also put my pics on my flickr site - I think there's about 180 on at the moment - you're allowed to display 200 of you're a free Flickr account holder.

I have only one pic, a portrait of me by Lila Janus which I snapped again the first time I rezzed it in front of my av because the unplanned composition reminded me of a Rembrandt - facial skin tones and a detail of my hands coming out of the almost solid black background of the portrait. I use the snapshot in my profile and I also hung a copy in my SL home.

Otherwise, I would say fill the house with portraits of your av if you like them, Bunni. Our avs are every bit as much of a creative exercise as our homes or whatever so I don't think it even qualifies as vanity. It's great to see pictures of the resident when visiting a building or sim.

I also have a collection of steamily candid 'recreational' shots which Trout would doubtless have to go up to 11 for (if he doesn't lose his breakfast, that is). I might consider opening a porn gallery at some point but that would involve getting my co-participants' permission first.

Or consider uploading it to a free script site, if it's not already at one, before you get a mass of requests.

(I have a slideshow script I bought that works fine, but it doesn't have the preload feature. The preload is a great idea.)

Heh, my scripted picture frame now uses a hollow cut cube so I get 7 faces to preload on, and it still sometimes grays out for some people.
