I recently introduced a friend to SL and whilst they were exploring they were amazed at some of the themed sims around, one was a gothic cyberspunky place, one was like jurasic park. Anyway he asked me to send him a list of my top 10 themed sims so he could visit them. I dont have a clue, all i do is build so I dont get out much and any travelling that I do is in support of my business. So I thought I would ask here. Please list your top ten (or less if you dont have 10). Looking for the cool, creative original, quality build sims...not interested in malls or clubs etc, Thanks!
PORK!

Oh...all I do is explore.....I don't have URL's handy but I could give ya a ton of landmarks in world if you're interested. Everyone's idea of a top 10 is probably different, but with the amount of folks in here you'll likely get a good sampling of the best of the best~!! Your freind will have a blast just using search, typing in key words like "tall ships" or "steampunk".....or whatever...and just teleporting around. It's how I've stumbled on most of the cool places I've seen. And with folks creating new sims all the time....I never tire of exploring.

I always send people here: http://npirl.blogspot.com/IMO, showcases the best of the best. Aside from there some of my fav places are in no particular order: Black Swan *The Lost Gardens of Apollo* Sector 13 My island (*smirks*) Bettina Tizzy's Chakryn Forest (in her picks) Lauks Nest Tableau Bliss Gardens (below - the islands are interesting) Clock Island (although I hear its going to be torn down soon) Hollywood sims ( great sailing islands - United Sailing Federation) Volcanic Cave (not a sim BUT because Leben Schnabel' caves rock my socks and inspire me to no end) Straylight Devils Labyrinth (not a sim but a cool maze) Intemptesta Nox Port Caledon Calleta City of Lost Angels CASTLE BLACKMOOR (and the surrounding areas) Silk Waters Secret Reflections Vassar Island Cave Rua Water Gardens Lil Sturgis Piren Bistrano (on map) Saijo City and about a gazillion other places... haha
