I've justed logged in and got a number of 'failed to connect to database' type errors (can't remember the precise wording), followed by 'Replaced missing clothing/body part with default.' messages.
I am now a woman.
Very odd.

nothing like being ruth with facial hair though...
i tried to take a photo of it but i morphed to fast by the time i had managed to swivel my camera to snap a photo i was half me and half ruth and by the time i snapped the shot ruth had retreated again.. _____________________
I know the competition that will come along someday is learning from LL's mistakes. But do they have to make so many? |

Yeah it usually reverses for me it reversed very fast and if you manage it and the lag is bad enough it seems that when we login we all start out as ruth and our bits and pieces that make us who we usually are are then applied. If you find a cooperative friend with a slowing connection you can watch the login morphing process which starts with ruth and then the shape goes on and then the skin and then all the other items one by one. Also we start out very short too.... like half the average sl size (maybe this is to save space when offline )_____________________

I have a goatee and mustache in SL. I know this problem well. My issue was the clothes are loading, you look normal to others message. Clothes weren't loading and I looked like a 5'2" woman with a beard and moustache to others, which is decidedly not normal. I tried everything, then finally gave up and went to this glorious place I found in RL called "Outside". When I got done there, I logged back on and was back to my normal self. _____________________
