ok, I just sat and watched all three shows tonight.. and frankly I am as confused as I was on season 1 show 1.... why why why Do I watch this stuff?

The last season confused the hell out of me!

i stopped watching lost when they took too long to show me what was down the hatch.
really, lost is just a mix of a man's soapie and where's waldo. guys can sit around and watch for tiny little clues (omg the number was said in that commercial n the tv in the backgound in that dream he had!) that really arent relevant.
this show has no plot, no direction, and bores me to tears.

That new guy has a lot to live up to. David Tennant was a great Dr Who.

No WAS about it, DT still is Dr who for another year. The new fella with the funny shapped face wont appear on our screens until 2010.

All my shows that started up this month..Lost was the only one I was excited about! Yea its confusing but I can't get enough..I wanna know what happens next

Plot development is just that....it develops, in Lost's case it will develop over 6 seasons. You lost interest before they went into the hatch so they had barely started to develop the overall plot. Shows like Lost, Galactica, Heroes are different to the dramas that mainly came before them in that they develop story arcs over multiple seasons rather than wrapping up a story after an hour. Maybe you would be better off watching old Star Trek reruns if you feel the need for closure quickly or have no attention span or require predictability and resolution. Criticizing the plot of a show you haven’t watched properly, you’re just making yourself look silly and causing sarcastic Porky to pop out of his cupboard.

I just noticed you live in Melbourne. When your level of locally produced entertainment is 'Neighbors' then I can see why you would be daunted by a show with a plot the scale of Lost.

Did you ever meet Jim Robinson? He's in Lost you know although he is a baaad aaaass!

I admit, I've watched lost faithfully from the beginning, and I still find this an astute and hilarious description.
