I find this amusing.

You do know the US isnt even in the top 10 countries by connection speed anymore.... and for over all users its 247 Million online is surpased by Europes 390 million and dwarfed by Asia's 650 million internet users...

Maybe when the US catched up to the rest of the world we will see more americans around eh?

Yes, I agre BUT I meant when the 650 million users have spare cash to buy Lindens (just a metaphorical idea) then consumerism will really flourish.

Until recently I spent a lot of time in Brasilian areas (I'll probably go back to doing this, but I've gotten side tracked). I have never been asked if I am an adult and no one has remarked about my height. I suspect that Brasilian clubs and bars in real life DON'T PROOF. It is common at an outdoor street dance to see child avies. Child avie paraphenalia is sold in regular Brasilian shopping malls.

Don't let me rain on your parade but RL Brazil has one of the biggest problems with children living and/or working on the street in the world. I don't need to expand on what a good deal of that 'work' is either but, please, don't take my word for it and check out any Amnesty International report in recent years or even certain documents by UNICEF: Brazilian police are on record for culling street kids in the favellas of Rio (ie: they shoot them like rats).

Besides being difficult to monitor for SL, which is clearly an Anglo-centric medium, I imagine a few randy Brazilian child avs are 'small potatoes' for any conscientious Brazilian dealing with the still more sinister shadow of institutional murder in the streets.
