Sweeter than candy has a new bikini out in her lucky chair (I won one yay)

My favs are at Vlintuition. Very cute little suit and they come with the shear skirt and top cover you can wear when your walking around on the beach.

Well, I went to the first bunch of places, bought some suits and had a ball taking pics in them I can't decide which is my favorite but I'm leaning towards the LeLutka. This suit has really great sculpted primworks on the little ties. It comes in a LOT of colours and all the textures are very crisp. This is a bit too exposed in the back for my taste but otherwise I really love the cut of this suit. I think it accentuates my shape better than the one above. The photos don't do this suit justice. It has some of the finest texture work I've seen today, in some very hard to texture areas too.

{had to break up the post - too many pics} Not a single prim on this suit but what a great design! The cut looks good from all angles and the only wonky parts are the straps but I think that's more of a avatar mesh issue than a design issue. I really love this simple style. the top is fully sculpted and looks so much more real than paint-on. I love the bottoms that are sorta-boy-short in the back but definitely bikini in the front. I liked this one so much I bought it in black too because I know I'll want to wear the top with other things. I'd love to see some pics of others in their favorite suits. Post your pics but be sure to say who made the suit and why you like it so others can get great suits too. Props to quality designers!

From: Imagin Illyar I've been looking for a good bikini. Many designers seem to have great textures but the suits look painted on, have little detail work and the straps are totally wonky. Templates mostly. Anyone know of some really good quality swimwear designers out there? get a suit called nuvo from Adrina Waters I recommend it everytime anyone mentions swimsuits because it is the simply the best in sl.... The problem with this excellent designer is she just wont do stuff for guys...

DeLa had some cute suits... But....the ARE all painted on. LOL There's really no getting around that.....and swimsuits of all things......(and underwear) always look the worst because there's so little to work with to begin with.....and it seems like making them believable as a painted texture is particularly challenging. The more fabric involved (IE long pants & shirts with long sleeves) the more detail can be added......adding more realism. But....I've managed to score a few cute bikinis....DeLa being the most recent place I found one.....once I'm in world I can check the others. I know I seem to find things in abscure little shops accidentally....rather than by deliberate search.

From: Princess Ivory Hmmm....my ankles don't usually look like that. I wonder if it is the heels I am wearing, or the pose I am in, contributing to that effect? Oh well, I'm not going to worry too much about my ankles!
Thanks for reposting the pic, Pep, I couldn't remember how to do it. (How DID you do it?) The pose I expect - it's pretty angular. And what sort of idiot is going to be looking at your ankles when you're wearing that bikini? Pep (replace url and /url with img and /img)

My favorite bikini is a freebie I picked up during my first months in SL. I'll have to remember to take pics sometime soon when I've got a minute...

From: Malia Writer Ditto. I got a retro polka dot bikini and is still my fave. I spend forever hunting down an actual one-piece swimsuit. Lots of bikins around, but not those, though I did finally find a good one. (Well, the Chaospire Naiad *is* technically one-piece, but...)

Ohhh is this a picture gallery now? Here's my frankenbarbie wearing her Nea-Ban sculpted prim bikini. They're mod so you can adjust them... and you will have to adjust them. I also changed the texture.

Bravo Felony and Bree. That's more like what this thread needs.
Pep (Nothing more than a golf clap for the advertising pics - we need *real* people exhibiting themselves on the beach or by the pool, not photoshopped dummies in a studio.)

I get most of my swimwear from Waterbabies. They make bikinis of all cuts, boardies, one pieces...a full range. Also, I have had a delivery problem on a single occasion and the owner sorted it for me immediately. (My butt is that big, it isn't the suit ) edit for link... http://www.flickr.com/photos/40912163@N02/I dunno Pep. That is the stream, and it's the photo titled 'action' If it doesn't work I have no idea why, perms make is accessible to public.

If I'm out and about I often mix boardies with bikini tops. http://www.flickr.com/photos/lawles/3770986183/ PS- if it doesn't show again, other than entering the url or the url into the img field I have no idea what I am doing wrong

Pep (like this - if you click to reply to this post you will see what I have done.)
