The massive ARC was a female AV will quite modest hair, a face veil and a lot of flexi prims in her volumous skirts and arms etc and was of BDSM persuasion....i did talk to her but she ignored me however i think she was French....maybe the bat was under her skirt....
Oh i did try out a free sex place to check ARC's....but nothing over green status and a lot of 1's loll.....all newbies or naked lolllll

From: Baloo Uriza Don't quote me on this, but I believe this only applies to how ARC is calculated, since ARC changes to some degree based on camera prospective. Right now, the way ARC is calculated tends to be a little alarmist once you're already in astronomical territory. Capping the top end and refiguring the weighted scores for various rendering features should go a long way in making the ARC information less arbitrary and more consistent.
That being said, one should be making an effort to stay out of the red numbers when putting together a day-to-day outfit; high ARC avatars tend to take longer to rez and have a greater impact on client-side lag than low ARC avatars. This problem is especially pronounced for residents on lower end GPUs. I can get my arc up to 18000, just using plywood cubes and alpha.

And here I tend to feel guilty of my arc between 3-4000 when I am wandering around in a furry av... Since many furry avatars have various scripts, I am curious how the script limit will affect those - where LL will set the limit.

I have one outfit- at least 27 layers of removable dress and veil- on another account. ARC of 25k, but I've used it a whole once.

From: Darkness Anubis I felt guilty when my ARC went over 500 Under 1500 is generally OK, under 1000 is even better. It's possible to look good and not lag. )
