The only thing you allowed to do is give Linden Labs your money for nothing.

Spend L$1000 on a skin and the dirty NAZIs in Linden Labs will mash it up so you have to spend more money to look decent the next day.

So you are comparing an internet platform to a place where millions of people were put to their death. You may not get banned from this forum, but you are certainly banned from anything I have to do with in SL. Add that to your beyond tasteless comparison.

i was willing to help the op out but they give no details about issues or anything just lots of generalities so oh well he goes on my ban list

I sell the things I create fine. What you do is put the items you make inside another prim, right click on that prim and enter the edit menu. In the extended options choose to sell it and don't forget to rename it to make sure you know what it is when it's sitting in your inventory.



Buying things typically requires Linden Dollars, unless they are true free items that are set to 0 Linden to acquire. To buy an item, some vendors set their selling prim to merely require a click, then a confirmation screen comes up to ask if you wish to buy it. Other times when it is not present, right click it and choose buy from the pie options. Mmmm pie.



Buying Lindens, the currency model of Second Life can be gotten by having a valid card on file or via paypal. Other options include "camping" which is a rather bad way to go about it. The time spent for the allotment versus power used do not add up well. It is recomended that purchasing be done to allow for a quicker result.



As stated above, buying Linden Dollars also gives the advantage of starting the sites "timer". As the days go by the amount you can buy or sell increases. This is done as a means to prevent fraud within the system. When you finally are able to sell the Lindens, you will have the option to receive a check or paypal payment, after the initial conversion of L's into the currency of your area.



Wearing clothes while using the second life software is completely optional, as you are in the comfort of your own home. I would not recommend using your own clothes to decorate your avatar, or the visual representation of yourself, as clothes on a computer would just be silly.



As Second Life has not yet installed their chips into the individual account holders collective concious, the use of the arrow keys are the typical choice when moving around in world. If you are not able to move behind the computer while operating the client, check to make sure you haven't fallen asleep.



Talking is activated by pressing the chat button, then by typing text and pressing the enter key. If however you find you can't talk while using the client, again check to make sure you haven't fallen asleep.



Actually, you get quite a lot in return for being a premium member! Specially marked tickets, a special and lively help chat, the ability to own land, and even special "features" as each client is released.
