Best animated bed

I purchased an akaesha bed which I really like but the animations are too slow for me. Where can I find a great bed with great animations and scenes. Thanks!

Please tell me this thread is a sex bed thread and not a sleepy time bed thread. I'll just watch and see what people reccommend.

I make Hal say "lol" when we do have sex in sl coz I allways say "old age is getting on top of me". I'd say it in real also. (I do like to be the one on top but that's cos of my back - feeling the weight is wonderful but feeling a back spasm isn't that great).

My partner Eveline has what I believe is the largest collection of animated beds and rugs on the grid, but there is one maker she hasn't got.

That's Lover's Playground...her SL sister Sophie has one from there. We tease her because it is so HUGE. That bed is big enough to have its own local government. One needs to take food and water when exploring it. We've been known to land helicopters on the canopy.

It's so gigantic that I never considered even shopping at the store it came from, until today. Sophie asked me to go with her to talk to the store people about upgrading her bed for a newer model (her English isn't that fluent).

So we went. Here was this bed that has a TON of animations in it, PLUS it can do effects like fireflies and floating hearts and things, AND you can change its texture and colors, AND it rezzes its own nightstands and a fireplace, AND it rezzes all sorts of toys, AND it has "scenes"-- sequences of animations, AND it can actually be reconfigured physically...it's advertised as "20 beds in one".

It's only about $L14,000. I had a case of sticker shock, until the nice salesman pointed out that on a per-animation basis, it was the lowest priced bed in SL.

Oh...and it doesn't take a mansion with eight meter ceilings to house it, either.

But does it run around the place shouting "GET OFF ME, YOU PERV!"? Without that, it's rubbish.

I like TNT best. I got just the engine that looks like a flat prim that I can place over any bed I want, then add on a transparent texture. Then I don't have to spend money on an expensive bed when I get tired of my current style. Edit to add: It has a faster, rougher menu too.

Phil, YOUR beds don't do that. If you buiild one that does, I'll buy it and put it in my master bedroom.

Well I see I have to add some features to my beds, as mine do not run around and shout like Phils beds Always one step ahead that dude.

Now I DO sell mattresses that you can simply use on an existing beds. Simply apply the transparent texture and you are ready to go. At this moment only 2 models (46 and 76 animation ones) but more to come.

For the correct fee I am willing to attach a bed to my head and run around screaming, but for that effect Phils beds are probably cheaper

I've known Eveline for a long time - sort of, anyway. Long before I got into the furniture business.

I'm willing to buy a "Get off me you perv" model from whichever of you clever lads creates it. It'll go well with the "Eat your guest" armchair.

And a plug for Marcel's "plain" beds...that's what I have now in my own bedroom, with one of Stroker's engines added.

I don't really know what I'd call my bed. The actual bed is from Akaesha, but I have an invisible prim over the mattress that I've customized. I remove animations when I get tired of them and add new animations when I run across ones I like

When you are choosing a new bed, find out if you can add and remove animations easily. Some despicable furniture makers do not allow that. Stay away from those makers.

OK...I see through your Clever Ploy. You want me to buy a bed and sit around talking to it for days.

I love my Akeshea bed. I also have a TNT bed. I'd say the TNT has better animations--maybe the best--but I hate how it snaps back to a weird default animation whenever I change menus.

My attention span's not that long. It's why I can't do jigsaw puzz...oh, a kitty!

Just get a new 'sex engine' which is usually just a single prim that you add to your old bed. Why give up your old anims when you can have them all?
