I thought the word casino was banned in SL or is that just for advertising? Unless the owner of that place owns the whole sim he is monopolizing sim resources so you can AR him for that as well. |

I had no idea this was going on. My sales and traffic have been the pits in that side of the store - - but had my map zoomed in on the store only, and didn't catch that string of dots off to the side. Check out my store traffic from yesterday. It will be ZERO today, for that sim - no-one could get in all day.

That's one of the bizarrest things I've seen in SL . . . and I've seen bizarre. I'm still voting for a cult, though. _____________________

I'm putting my money on stupid dickhead zyngo owner.
Or possibly some poor sod brought the casino and got told the best way to get traffic. SL Karma in action, if they weren't inconveniencing others it would be better just to leave them keep hogging the owners parcel till he fails and leaves SL. _____________________

They told me, Phil, they were hoping one day to have saved enough to buy you out and set you to work for them.

Now how stupid is it.....to pay money to people to come beef up your traffic for your machines....but beef up the traffic so much.....that no-one can get to your machines? How stupid is that? Well, nobody ever claimed bot-runners were more intelligent that, well, bots. ![]() _____________________

I love Zyngo! My sim owner took care of it, and blocked off access until it gets taken care of. But I have a hunch it will be right back to the same story within a week. |

That's one of the bizarrest things I've seen in SL . . . and I've seen bizarre. This crowd is larger than most, but this is actually a very common scene in SL these days. This is the new camping. Avatars standing around a random money giver. It's usually a pink pig. It's gotta make an impression on a newb to walk up to one of these creepy sights and ask what everyone is doing and get no response. _____________________

This is funny. 20 of them are standing in a heap on the vacant lot next door. lol
Hope an evil person isn't reading - but this is a great way to put someone out of business. |

It's gotta make an impression on a newb to walk up to one of these creepy sights and ask what everyone is doing and get no response. Is that a "predictable experience"? I guess it is, after the first time or 2. Looking at the photo I would say that these are bots, but my reasoning differs from any mentioned so far. Notice the names of all these accounts - they absolutely do *not* look like a random sampling of SL names. They are all too "real" ... to tidy. I don't see a "XXXSweetiePIE1985XXX" or a "BadassTonyROCKHARD" or "1234567PiPpIe" in the bunch. Whoever made these accounts thought to "forget' capitalization on some, but this is far too many short/tidy names to be a genuine/random group of SL citizens. Many of them are only four letters long - not very convincing at all IMO. _____________________

I'll go make a LM for my Zyngo machine and send it to the ones that are leftover, standing there, in a daze. My Zyngo is free to play - so might get a taker if they are real avs. |

I always thought it was a bit sinister that ZYNGO is an anagram of ZYGON

Question for Phil:
The LM's were accepted instantly. Usually it takes someone a minute or two to accept. And if they are so zoned out - that they don't realize they got kicked off the other property - how were they able to accept the LM so quickly? Is that some kind of automated thing for a bot? I also noticed that another 16 ended up on the other side in a heap - so almost all that were there last night, are still there - just distributed to 2 different sims now. |

It can be written for bots to accept them, yes. Since they accepted being ejected as though they hadn't noticed, and since they accepted the inventory (LM) immediately, they are bots.
I may be mistaken, but I think it's written into the libSL TestClient to accept inventory offers. TestClient is a bot programme that many of us use. We modify it to suit our needs, but that's what they'll be running on. I'll check that. _____________________

Last time I offered a neighbor's camper a job - - ended up being the neighbor's wife - - all hell broke loose after that. |

I was mistaken. I just gave an LM to one of my bots (it doesn't recognise me - I use an alt for them), and it was declined immediately. So automatically accepting inventory isn't part of the TestClient programme. Even so, immediate actions when you offered the LMs, together with no action at all after being ejected, means they are bots - unless there is a viewer setting for automatically accepting inventory offers, of course.
