Should I Risk Nipply Nudes?

I am still unclear about what to display in my Mature home-cum-gallery. I have some remaining nudes and very artistic photographs (rl photographers / artists). What is the consensus of opinion here?
This is NOT pornography. The artists have legitimate representation in real galleries in New York, Seattle, San Francisco, Toronto.
To consider the female and male nude as something to designate in terms of display creates a pornography rather than diminishes it.

What would you do? Risk display (and subsequent expulsion) in Mature or crate the artwork up and buy some land in the Adult Porn Kingdom of Zindra?

I'd take it to adult land and not risk crossing any particular Linden's arbitrary judgement of what is and is not art.

It's a common expression in UK so better to remember how it is used. I took Latin with my tutor so I use this kind of thing.

I do not trust the Lindens to be either fair or objective over any definition of "art". If it's even the slightest bit risque, I'd take it to adult land. Someone else can be the test case.

Keep it simple. Go adult. Grid-tourists have no clue, the Resi-Team (former G-Team) has no clue about art, neighbors have no clue, Blondin doesn't know what he talks when he talks about art and the general attitude of the LL-board and management is, to keep the mainland-continents sterile/clean. You have no official and no written and no notary signed guarantee that your art is risk-free on mature regions. In other words: it would be stress to hang the pics because it would be like sitting under the sword of Damokles.

If you are on an island, flag it adult, if you are on mainland, find a plot on Zindra, to be safe.

LL managed, to add fear and pain and penalty to erotic and sexuality again for unknown reasons. You know: they don't drink water, because fishes had sex in it. They drink sand and they shower in mornings *after* they dressed their suits.

I would move in direction Zindra-Ghetto if I were in doubts about what to do with my art, no matter if I would hang it only at "home" or in a public gallery.

I was told ANY nude RL pic was considered adult by LL and only allowed on ADULT land from now on *shrugs* that's just what we were told when we were getting rid of the "adult content" in our club

I got ARed about a month ago. Some vigilante must have visited my galleries and sent Lindens an AR. It was a 1960s series of pics of Jane Birkin from "Paris Match" magazine (kinda like Life magazine). Hardly porno.
So I've been emptying my galleries since then - at first I destroyed most of the stuff just in a despondent seethe. A whole art resource has gone now. Still, I have enough to take to Zindra but I feel outcast from my homes in Chaska and Mimas. I'm starting to think that Hal and I are gonna have to batten down our hatches and ride out this storm in sl of pg and mature and such like. Or maybe really leave. Not certain what we'll do.

I think this is going to just turn into a big opp. for people to run around trying to play police and AR's running out the butt EVERYWHERE. And it's a little hard to enforce a lot of it b/c they are not detailed enough on what we can and cannot have/do. There could have been a MUCH simpler way to handle this, but I guess that'd be asking WAY too much to do the logical thing l0l

There are a few out there, and a group as well. A friends Gor store was hit by one such vigilante...they kept sending daily IM's stating they were going to AR daily til she was shut down. LL said she is fine in Mature. Your best bet is to ignore any IM's they send your way, copy them and file an AR on them for harrassment. Enuf of those and they will find themselves in the hot seat with LL. We have a Gor store on Mature as well, but we also have an email stating we have complied, from LL. Might post the email in the store, to show how useless it will be to AR, but I doubt they will care. Some people need a Third Life, instead of messing with others SecndLife. Funny how the vigilante suddenly quit IM'g daily...grins.

That AR was in a (PG) region, though, right? If you're in (Mature) there's nothing to worry about. As long as you don't have some sort of adult service or product in search, there's no violation to stand on if someone ARs you. (^_^)y

To me any non sexual nude is fine. When it begins to suggest a sexual theme or content then yes it is porn. For instance: A nude woman sitting on a bench in a private garden brushing her long flowing hair. This would tell me.. peace.. Soothing and make me wonder at what she is thinking doing and feeling at hte moment.. Paint sculpt or photography.
Now if I see a photo of a woman in handcuffs with a gag a dildo near in or on and bent over in such a way as her ass suggest a valid entry point.. porn. in paint sculpt or photography.

and so on.
