Hello i've asked and looked around a few places in world though i'm still a little stuck on how it all works really, i'm very much interested about having a baby and the process before and what would and could happen after.

My first question is what good stores are out there that have some nice looking babies, i've looked at Bundle of Joy but the babies look a little like a cabbage patch kid (sorry).

The process how everything works, what i would need. etc

the aftermath, i have been told that after the baby is born and you've had it a few days, it can get old pretty quick, i'm just curious about what sorta things the baby can do and what would i need too do too keep the baby entertained, healthy etc.

I've also heard about that you can adopt kids after the whole process too play your child, How does all that work. I think the whole adoption thing may be hard for me as well as i'm a BDSM Sub, so i'm a little worried that if i ask i'll get booted out straight away.

Any advice and help is greatly appriciated.

you haven't even gotten SL pregnant yet and it's already old.

use your search button inworld and TP around to places. key words might include "pregnancy" & "prim baby" to start with.

have fun, but stay the hell away from my neck of the SL woods with that talking prim parasite.

Do you have to be prim-pregnant for a whole nine months?

I think, even if I were the type of person that wanted to have an SL family.....I wouldn't be able to do it until someone came up with some decent looking babies. I like my cat, at least she looks real and I don't have to change prim diapers.

On a more serious note.... ask around in world when you see people with babies cause there's been some horror stories going around about poorly run pregnancy and delivery services. But we're not allowed to name names in here.

Nope. Those things are usually about six weeks.

To the OP. There is one prim baby place out there that has a lot of bad press. I won't name names here, but I suspect a google search might reveal them. The part that really gets old is the green text from the tummy talker, then from the baby itself. At least in my opinion.

An yes, there are adoption places in world for finding people playing kids and stuff. Some are better than others -- but unlike a prim baby, we don't fit in your inventory, and do have pesky things like emotions and stuff.

There's a prim baby here that looks really good. Don't think you'll get bored with this one:

Hiya! As to what can it do, well, they cry when they need something & you just press the button on the HUD to make it stop & hopefully it does before someone kills you & it! From memory you can tickle it, rock it, feed it, change it's nappy, change it's textures for the top it's wearing & change the top as they come with tons of textures, change the colour of it's dummy (Or remove it completely) boots & skirt or nappy, bath it (Just removes it's clothes). That's it I think. It's pretty much like having an SL pet, except you press a few buttons instead of say commands, if I still had mine i'd show you but they've *magically* disappeared from my inventory lol

You don't keep it entertained as it's just a prim toy as such. The clinic to avoid I think is the one I told you in world, I know that's had terrible reputation within SL & I almost went with them. What will you need? Well, in SL you can buy everything that you can in RL, you can say use a cot because you just rez the baby & manouver it into the cot with the edit arrows. Yoy can buy buggies, carry cots, changing tables you name it you can probably get it, of course it's up to you what exactly you buy. It does get old quickly but is great at first! My babies didn't last as long as my pets.

If you have a search in these forums (I'm not sure if you already have) there's a million & one threads about SL pregnancy that may help you some, I *think* BOJ do the best babies or they certainly used to, of course it's down to individual taste, but from what everyone who's done it says, they're the best. No clue on adoption except that it's adults roleplaying kids & there's adoption agencies in SL, Marianne who I suggested you talk to (My fault Mari!) has posted above, she's the expert! lol i'm sure you've contacted her in world though.

Anymore questions just shout in world or if I see anymore here I can answer i'll try, you'll probably get loads reply to this thread & all the answers you need in the others, gl!

Thanks Missfit, i've had a good look in world.

I think i'll go with a BOJ package, they seem too be well reccomended:).

I'll defiently ask advice about adopting if and when me and My Master decide too do that, i'd would definently like too adopt, i'm not so sure about My Master. Mari would you mind me IM you inworld at a later date about adoption after i've spoke too My Master:).

By the way should have said earlier i'm a BDSM sub, sorry if i cause any confusion.

/me takes a deep breath and tries to look confident and reassuring.

You see, Kagome, when a boy and a girl get together and fall in love, nature gives them certain instinctive desires. Boys are shaped different than girls. See, they have a different part that...um...it gets...

well, after they get married, that's for sure...

crap. this isn't going well

OH! Thank God! You meant in SL. Well, then, let someone else deal with this. I need a drink. Make it a double. Leave the bottle.

(Jesus! Someday I'm going to have to have that conversation with my daughter. Can anyone recommend a good anti-anxiety pill that I can OD on before that?)

That is the mother's responsibility, all you have to do is scare the hell out of any guy that comes within 100yds of her.

You might not want to mention that part to the adoption agency, either. Where will you keep the poor tyke while you're out getting your fanny paddled? Or what if you're tied up somewhere during feeding time? It's a whole set of logistics to consider for sure.

Of course, having the kid yourself is also problematic. Then again, lactating in black leather could start a whole new fetish. Content creators, get ready.

I've known some situations like this, including in my own (extended) inworld family. Logistics, communication, and planning for the win!

It should *definitely* be disclosed.

Prim babies are one thing but I don't know if many of the child AV's looking to be adopted would want to live in a BDSM setting either. If its something done in private and the kid is not exposed then maybe they would be ok with it....but if you have cages in your room and bow at your master's feet everytime you stop walking I wouldn't think thats what most kid AV's are looking for in a family.

I suspect you are right. I know I would not want such, and most examples I've seen / heard of have not done such -- but rather kept these world somewhat separate. I knew of one who did some of that, including one of the two parents on a lead, etc., and the kids in that family were not exactly thrilled.

One might also have to be wary of what is in shared areas, given some of the more baroque rules around "broadly offensive" stuff and the inclusion of child avatars.

LOL my parents said "Don't have sex. But if you do, tell us, and we'll put you on the Pill."

Mind you, I was 10 when they said that. :o
