So all that comes in these group IMs is spam?
So why do Linden give this feature to us, why do you group owners not ask Linden to remove the feature?
If there is another use for it, none of the Groups I am in use it.
As I am in a group as an Owner it would be nice to know a use for the feature, it not being used for good or bad.

I guess we join groups for different reasons, some people like the Tag, something to belong to, on profiles tells others your interests etc.
Oh yes 3 I'm in allow me entry to their part of SL world if Tag worn.
I get Group notices of events etc. These come in Blue or Silver at top right of screen.
So I still not having a use for this Group IM feature. I'm enjoying SL with out it.

I suppose I could always join the group that they are spamming for then feed their spam back at them for a laugh.

the few ocaisions I've done people search to notify them that spam ads are a negative inducement(discourages peoplw from visiting ones store/site), the responce has been "User not online. Messege will be stored till later" (er whatever that line is). So obviously a bot. right?
