more problems?

I can not seem to purchase anything, I am trying to buy a demo, and it says I do not have enough lindens, yet the demo cost 0L and I have lindens.

also when coming to the website all links seem to go to the status page which says...

I got to the forums by typing in forums.secondlife.com, the link just went to the status page.

anyone else seeing this or having issues?

It is the usual! The newbs are going crazy in Ahern. Nothing works!

Also, authentication servers appear borked. Cannot log in to either SL or JIRA.

The status page instead of some other website page thing happens intermittently quite often, to me.

yep..i was in the middle of changing out some scripts and it died...cant add the new ones into my items...so i tried to delete them so no one would buy them...delete is only functioning sporadically. Same message, same issues here...smile

Hmmm thought it was just me having problems. I'm trying to build but I can't take objects back to inventory or delete items.

Can't even log in, so yes I would say its borked once more. Rolling restarts on friday YAY.

Well I'm getting Login Failed for the last half hour or so ..

can not even get to support part of the website to report it

and I am on my alt which has no friends except myself LOL so can not even bug any of the lindens on my friends list....

Me 'login failed' too. Hairwash time!

The good news is they managed to write 1250 linden from my balance so my main classified is running for another week So at least I can be found... ow wait you have to be online for that.

even though I am in world, it is useless can not do anything except look around
dare not teleport hehe

However I am rather optimistic in general, at the moment I am thinking that the best way to improve my Second Life experience, is selling my stuff, cash out, and have a good laugh every time I hear the words "Second Life". Even the most optimistic can get kicked in the nuts too many times...

And yeah your only going to loose *low* prim furniture, imagine how pissed you'd be if you made bar stools with 46 prims each?

I am unable to change group tags.

I finally got through to support letting them know about the inworld issues (in case they are not aware of them)

You need to read between the lines of the rolling re-start blog entry....

Would be nice if they made a splash screen to say that there was an issue AGAIN. Is it me or did this happen yesterday at around the same time?

In-world and Website performance issues

We updated the configuration recently to attempt to improve performance. Unfortunately, the change appears to have decreased stability. We are reverting to the previous configuration and taking measures to minimize disruption. In the meantime, please avoid (and be aware of) in-world transactions timing out, teleporting being effected, logins failing, inability to change group tags, inability to rez or “Take” items.. among other issues. The website is also reporting the grid status as down and is, at times, preventing access to the Support Portal (as well as other areas). We are working as quickly as possible to restore services to their normal capacity.

Seconded.. and yes to the second one. I've been avoiding going in world this week to keep from being too irritated to work. I want to build, not sit there staring at walls. I can do that in RL

Depends on how many different stools
My main problem at the moment is the fact they don't do a freakin thing towards the people sticking dollars in the game. Tier, classifieds, premium charges, no problems there. And especially classifieds have been of not much use in a world where no one can either log in or buy anything.

The fact they have problems that cannot be solved within a few weeks is already hard to cope with, but it is about time they make up for it against the people who fund their operation.

Did anybody else get the resident survey at the start-up screen before logging in today? "Would you say your Second Life experience is better or worse? Why?"
