Would be land owners - to afriad to buy?

Hmm perhaps you should wait till LL put prices up 40% before buying, it seems most people would rather pay more for sims .
Or you could just do what one landlord is doing, his tennants were on a group telling how they were moving because he raised rent to cover his land value loss. So just put your rents up 40% too and alls good.............
Beside if you don't want to buy an Island now at $1000US, someone will sell you one at $1695 if you ask nicely :P
So now the competition will be on service and content, just carving an island into 1024's, throwing out some freebie palm trees and cheap houses to ren at at $2 per prim per meter isn't going to cut it anymore.
I suspect this will sway the balance between owners and renters.
And those that don't believe anyone uses land for anything other than investment are just blind.

I guess were the odd people out of the bunch here..we plan to buy an island and make it into a private home playground just for us.no renting no selling...

See what happens in the next few weeks though with the prices.
