Ok, I recently changed name to this, from Samaira Vieria. I have 10, 726sq m deeded to the group, so my tier is coming out of the Samaira account each month. I'd like to change it over as i'm keeping this name & want everything on this account, but I don't want to accidentally charge myself 2x
Anyone know when to do this or how's best? Any help greatfully received!

You have to subtract the contribution from Samaira's group, and buy the land for the Missfit group. Don't worry about the negative allowance, it's only temporary.

You can just set the land to sell to your new AV for some ridiculous price....then buy it from yourself....and presto....the land is now in your new name....then you may have to change the group as well...or re-set a group so ownership is in your new name. That's the only way i can think of to make the switch smoothly. *shrug*

Ok, i'm just worrying they'll bill Samaira as normal for the land held this billing period & also bill this name a month from the day I change the land over?

Or you could wait till Tuesday (Monday being a holiday) and use the Live Chat available to Premium accounts to have a Linden help you through it.
I've had very good luck with Live Chat. Support Tickets seem to get lost but chatting one on one gets the job done ^.^
Also, I'm not sure if your land amount puts you in the Concierage level or not, but if so, that Support service jsut went 24/7 so you should be able to contact them any time that way if you're in that grouping.

I'm not concierge, I did try live help he just said to transfer it & it'd be ok lol i'm thinking a double billing, might wait as someone said

But what he's saying is if he transfers at the wrong time, his first account will get charged the full tier up to the billing date, and when he transfers it, his second av will also get charged for the full tier rate until the billing period is over, and he doesn't want to do that, who does? So the best solution is to transfer it as close to the billing date as possible. Usually this doesn't matter if your transferring it to someone else, because it's not a worry if they have to pay too. Makes you think though how much Lindens make through this double billing process! |
