With preloaded data and no user created objects it would be a wonder if it didn't. Sure SL could run like that if it had LL create all of the material.

Hmm.. oh, CoH/CoV has lots of bugs, but I know they'll get squashed eventually. What I love about CoH/CoV is the costume creation! NO farking 'snap on' armor. But again, CoH/CoV content is entirely created by NCsoft and Cryptic, with the vast majority of it stored on your computer.
[sarcasm] Yes, when you introduce the human element, you introduce chaos, which is what is wrong with Second Life. It'd be great if it was completely ran by NPCs, with content created by only LL. [/sarcasm] Come to think of it, I think SL would run worse if LL was the only content creator  _____________________

As someone who's played on the Aggramar realm of WoW for over a year now, I can tell you that WoW does NOT work as smoothly as butter. Before the January transfers, Agg ran slower than molasses in January come the weekend - and it still can. Sometimes it takes three minutes for my toon to load after logging in.

The school owner in Bear and Nina are two others, but Nina hasn't been around much. Sling and 2K are outside possibilities. And then there is BRENDA........dum dum dum!!!!!!!! But then really Brenda and I are both alts of Colette. I wonder where Colette has been recently. She was one of my favorite residents. _____________________

i have played and still play WoW, i just don't agree that its the uber heaven on earth all hail the blizzard godz type platform the op says it is. it's just a way for me to pretend to kill folks that have ticked me off during the course of my day

I am a gamer. I tried WoW and found it to be.. well, not as pretty as Lineage 2 and without the ability to customize the look of my toon like CoH/V.
I like SL because it allows me to create! All of the games I have ever been on has has bugs, lots of them. LL is just the worst at reintroducing previously squashed bugs. That's not to say the others don't do it, but LL just does it worse. Not everyone needs the same things to fill the same needs (thank goodness!). If the OP finds fulfillment in WoW, I wish her luck and ask if I can have her stuff. *sigh* I wish LL would just do a weekly downtime of half the sims in the morning and half during the evening to allow for maint again. _____________________

It's corporate created static content is most likely better suited to you. Even with all it's flaws and bugs that are still being ironed out. _____________________

I hate Starbucks. I think Starbucks customers are idiots. So I like to constantly go into Starbucks and talk to anyone who will listen about my preferred store, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Then I insult them and get into arguments with them. Calling them sheep and silent victims of scammers are two ways I like to get into it with these pathetic customers.
I guess I could just stay at Coffee Bean and enjoy myself, but I don't mind wasting my time if it will make others feel bad. I also take great pleasure in attaching myself to something outside myself in an effort to appear superior. I'm just funny that way. _____________________

A lot of us just don't care about it. I happen to being a hardcore gamer. WoW never interested me. I've tried other MMO's and the same thing happens: Grind Grind Grind (weeks later- reach a new level) then Rinse/Repeat. These games are really good for old folks with slow reflexes _____________________
