From: Kalel Venkman Out of curiosity, from which sim did this originate? If you're asking me, it was the Bedos sim where my shop is. (I was trying to texture vendors and arrange things and it was REALLY annoying to have to deal with that nonsense.)

Where most of these made around the 17th of this month? Me and another admin have been banning odd silent avs that have been appearing in clusters in the middle of Northstar Polaris outside the mall on the road. I came out there and found 7 of them just standing there all facing the same way, wearing freebie avs. As I was watching and inspecting them 3 more appeared in the middle of the group, all of them where born on the 17th! I've started to see some from the 18th as well as they trickle in.
So they might be using Polaris as a rally point. Not see anything in our other sim yet.

I didn't ask my partner...but will be interesting to see if it is Polaris. EDIT: Two originating sims - Most were from San Seguis but a few from the Bedos sim we were in at the time, which is probably how our names were grabbed.

Hm, I'd suddenly reminded of World of Warcraft and the spammers there. Usualy appear at the mailbox near the bank in Stormwind, run around town spaming then run back to the mailbox and logout, or the middle of town and logout. Might be a possable collection point for them in polaris, if its a program to move them around the grid spaming. As of 9:15pm PDT in sl theres a couple more thats appeared since I've been offline. One of the sim owners came over and nuked them. We're pondering turning that small section into a 'payment onfile only area' and see what happens. |
