Volume 3 Issue 6 has been delayed a week or so due to an editorial debate over whether or not to reveal the identity of Ball Jigglar (our Deep Throat), the person who leaked to Slut Mag info concerning the means and methodologies used by the content theft ring we smashed earlier in the year (remember the Redgrave Skin Scandal).
The debate centered around this issue: What exactly would be served by such a revelation? The answer to that rhetorical is simple. It provides one with an inside glimpse of the corporate culture of "some company suing Linden Lab".

I'd love to read it, but the contrast levels are too piss poor to waste time trying to find things on that site. But I could make out the logo in the upper left, which makes me wonder if you're really incorporated. In many places, it's illegal to use "Inc", "Incorporated", or similar variants unless you're a real corporation (not an LLC).
As for the debate, I hope you also considered the question of how such a revelation would affect you. If the identity of the person was given to you by that person, in confidence, and you reveal it, then you may never get any more confidential sources. If you got that information some other way, then depending on circumstances, it may have significant, little, or no effect on your future use of confidential sources. |

I think the offence of him doing this gets lost in the flood of offensiveness that IS Jumpy, so folks tend not to notice.  Re: libel/lawsuits, my bet is that if Stroker were to sue Jumpy's company, it would be found to be an LLC with maybe $700 in assets. Nor would I be surprised if Jumpy were actually a Brit, and therefore justifiably jaunty, being effectively out of reach. Of course, we'll never actually know. |
