hello i recieve my im's to my email - recently i have been getting emails alerting me i have a msg from sl - its sender is object?? this is the msg with a web address The object 'Object' has sent you a message from Second Life:X/P/L/O/I/T/DGREETINGS FROM DiSSENTi0N. WITNESS THE RAW POWER OF OUR NEW SEKRIT WEAPON. ALSO, HERE IS COPYBOT: = Object is owned by Nimda Fittinger i have tried to search this person this morning but it did not come up in the search i will try again but am not clear what this is or what it means can anyone help me or tell me how i can stop the messages? they only come to my email and do not appear in sl??? thank you  |

It is a new form of griefing that extends beyond SL. There is a JIRA about the fact that muting in world does not stop the IM's to email. Until it gets fixed the only thing you can do is turn off IM-to-email. Here is the JIRA: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3558 |

Abuse Report it. If anything can stop bots being used in SL, this just might be it.
