Why the hell do you want to park your av doing absolutely nothing for hours on end to get perhaps US$1 worth of lindens?

May I suggest you visit the gnubie store, or the free dove to get your av looking half decent, then go looking for a job (for example dancing at a club).

1. It's lot more fun.

2. You are likely to make far more in tips than you would for the same amount of time camping.

3. You actually get to interact with people rather than just being a zombie.

4. You get more respect from other people.

Or alternatively, if you want to actually buy camping equipment to have campers on your land.... Please think seriously about it.

1. Your land will be full of zombies who never buy anything

2. If you are hoping to boost traffic to get renters in a mall, you will fail. Most savvy renters now avoid locations with campers because they cause lag and never buy anything

3. It will cost you a fortune!

I thought that 'picks camping' was being paid to have someone's store/location in your picks, not sitting around in traditional camping manner?

If that's what the OP is looking for, then just teleport around various malls and stores. There are several larger stores that pay small amounts of L$ to people that place their store or area in their picks, but from what I've seen while out and about most of these places now offer an item from their product range, rather than money, as a picks reward.

In my mind, this is a better deal anyway. Most of the L$ payments that I always saw were pretty tiny, but some of the stores will give you a somewhat expensive item each month. If you really like a designer's stuff, and would consider adding them as a pick anyway, this is the way to go.

I have way more than 10 favorite stores - not to mention I need to save some of my picks for my favorite hanging-out/dancing places - so I have actually used the 'get a free item' approach to help me decide which stores get in my list.

Treat Pick listed three places you could try, in post #6 on this thread. And I suggested flying and teleporting around some of the major shopping malls and stores. I don't think anyone is going to give you a complete landmarked list of places to go. Most people start off with a couple of tips from others, then do the legwork themselves :)

Hi, I have 7 picks reward locations on my sim. Each pays 100L$ per month or more and some give a bonus to a random participant. The sim is called Solace Beach - come on by, we have lots of stuff for newbies. We don't have "traditional" camping though - we only want real people on our sim!

Whereas I get store goodies that sell for L$300 - L$700 every month. I consider this method to be a nice customer loyalty perk from the stores that I really like. Though I imagine that many still just add these stores to their picks for the freebie and not really because they actually like or care about the stores.

I don't guess one could put "picks camping" into Search and find any places that have pick camping. Too simple.
