One of the things I like about SL is being able to jump off a building and not die. It's be pretty cool to experience a nuclear explosion and not die.

Nobody will survive a simulation of a real nuclear explosion in Second Life. The physics engine will get overloaded, call the grid neighbors for backup, and start a resonant cascading crash that will wipe out all sims turned on at that moment.

The day they rebuilt the Ahern welcome area
The Lindens had turned scripting on - so a bunch of folk had gathered and were happily messing around. It was a real party atmosphere there. Then someone set off some sort of device  I found myself five sims away. The Lindens closed the Welcome Area for the rest of the rebuild. End of party _____________________
