Problems whit hula hula in volcano

I'v danced the hula hula many times in front of the statue (the yellow one), but nothing happens, what can I do?

You mean the first Orientation Island? I don't remember having to dance the hula in front of the last statue. Couldn't really figure out why there WAS a 3rd(?) statue. In any case, just move on to the next thing, the last statue isn't important - you don't need it to 'pass'.

(Unless you're not talking about OI...)

OI = Orientation Island

Have you done the other tasks? If so, I'd just detach the HUD (thing on your screen with the stars) and leave. OI is notoriously buggy.

There are 3 statues. the first ask me my name, the second the name of a book, and tell me that I've to dass the hula in front of god of the volcano (th 3rd statue). I dance but nothing happen.
I've already have all the pieces of the puzzle, except the communications piece

Yeah, if you've done the vehicles, av customization, and I think the other one is search? Anyway, right click on the HUD and select detach, then find the teleport out...it should be a sign somewhere semi-obvious.

Not much happens when you do the Hula if I remembered right
There is place to send a notecard, do appearance and clothing, map place for understanding search.
If you use search and teleport you live OI but you will never be able to return unless you create another account and start over.
HUD is the attachment that tells you where to go or has interactions.

The HUD is the mini screen at the top left of your screen.

The area where your completed tasks are tracked with the little stars. It's actually an attachment, HUD being short for heads-up display, and not part of the main screen.

You can always just start over the Communication 'test' if you want, just go back to the entrance , and re-enter.

The problem is you must sacrifice a virgin into the volcano while dancing the hula... better yet -IM one of us when u r next in-world and we can just tp you out. Welcome to the mad house- enjoy your Second LIfe

Dufman- seriously - what time do you normally go in world? Anyone here will be happy to get you out - also- enable IM in your profile- I would have messaged you this instead of adding it here. It is in your forum profile- you have to mark allow Instant Messages.

Dufman. Orientation Island is not terribly well done in most people's opinions. Why Linden Lab sends its newest players through that trial is a mystery. You need to pick up certain skills to get by Second Life's leasrning curve, which is notoriously steep, but I promise you, it will get easier. It's like riding a bike. When you start, it's a wobbly and strange and you can't imagine how anyone does it. Then, all of a sudden, it clicks and you just do it without thinking about it.

If you know how to chat and IM, and you have figured out how to fly (if not, guess what? You can fly!!), and you've tried the vehicles and can walk around, then you're good to go. Figure the rest of it out on the mainland. The HUD (Heads Up Display) is that thing in the upper left corner. Right click, Detach. You can teleport off of OI whenever you want. There are plenty of people here who would be happy to help you, and there is a great kit that Lucrezia Lamont put together that most of us have and would be happy to give you. It's full of advice, tutorials, and landmarks to interesting places.

Don't worry about the HUD thing, it will go away by itself the first time you log in outside one of the orientation islands. All you have to do is click the Search button, search for an infohub (look for "Hyles Swamp", it's nicer than it sounds) and go there. The first place you go outside orientation will become your initial home, so try to head to Linden-owned land and not any old random place where you might not be allowed to stay.

I think there may be language barrier as well- not sure. He semi- IM'ed me from in world when i sent the LM to OnRez - he was just in there a few minutes ago if anyone wants to mount a search and rescue - Man! Talk about Resident Answers!

I was in-world, so I went to dufman's location (he was on Orientation Island 57) and helped him out - showed him how to click on the 'Help Island' sign and move on. So, so far, so good .
