When you get to a thread you want to remove (but can't) fast enough to change the title and have the change show in the thread list, instead of changing it to "ignore this", you could real quickly make up a normal thread, such as, ask how the group liabilities work. This will almost certainly insure fewer responses than a "ignore this" thread.

If only I had thought of that when I said ignore and let this one die.... *sigh*

since this thread has no question, I have one...

when you make something, and want to show someone, and none of your friends are available... what do you do?

(I am just dying to show someone, anyone, something I just finished making, to see their reaction)

There used to be 'show and tells', but they're pretty rare nowadays, and usually not immediately after you finish something. (Also they're mostly for new people)

Also, Sandboxes can be a good place to show off something new. (Sometimes, or sometims you just get annoyed by people doing annoying stuff there.)

You could amaze the noobs at a Welcome place. But they would probably be even more amazed by the colon disappearing when you type /me.

Look around Linden village and find a Linden to show it to!
