From: Maya Remblai I helped kick out some bots from an estate recently, and discovered something interesting: An avatar that has their home point set to the land they're being banned from, will simply be teleported back to that same home point. We had to eject the land owner for multiple rental violations, but since his home point was on the parcel he just flew up in the air and then came back down. Yep i seen the same thing On our rental land.. Odly enough their names get removed from the parcel ban list. I would add a name in the ban list and about 3 minutes later they are back in the same spot. I thought the parcel ban list was not saving names, so I banned the bot again and closed the parcel ban list and reopened it to see if the name saved. It is and was in there no problem.. 3 minutes later it was back and the name was gone from the ban list.. I had to ad their names to the Estate ban list and kick them from the estate. Not sure how that was happeneing or if it was a modified bot or what . But I didn't like it

From: someone It's one thing to have a bit of fun, but it turns into harassment and/or griefing if it continues (take note Rocky ). If that is a challenge, sir, then I shall don my Guy Fawkes mask and begin my vendetta, post haste. However, if bopping bots is the last way to get one's jollies here, then it's time to leave SL and don a WOW ogre AV. Although, if it helps with player retention (my personal SL obsession), I'll point some newbs to a few herds of bots and loan them a club. (Is griefer abetting a crime?) It really is a shame that LL's Traffic gimmick is so screwed up and they allow it to continue. I understand why people use them. There really isn't a more effective mass marketing medium in SL, which LL should be mightily embarrassed about. I just thought of something else: What happens when they teach bots to bop back? Now THAT would be interesting.
